  1. Probably should use equipment rated to the job - rigging slings and rigging krabs. But old krabs been fine for me.

    200t problem

Any ideas on this appreciated: Right at the end of the day on Thursday my 200t start running at max revs, only option was to turn it off. Started it over again and was the same, if I put the bar into some wood it would slow down and then I could use the throttle bring up again to max revs but as soon as it was through the wood it would again run at max. With chain brake on, there was no let up. Erm Thanks
  4. Yeah got it! Was obviously too early for my humour circuits to have engaged :-/
  5. Sorry don't understand that at all ?!?!
  6. Thanks for the tips chaps, i will investigate them all...though the bolle/oakley options looks most appealing at the mo, being an all in one solution....
  7. I ended up with saw dust in my eye yesterday, sectioning down a beech, it was getting windy so dust flying everywhere...couldn't get it out on site, so went to Minor Injuries. That little piece of wood has scratched about a quarter of my cornea. Feeling ok today, but eye is sensitive. I wear glasses so have never considered eye protection before, as it's more tricky than just putting on some wrap arounds. I have always avoided contact lenses because I figure it's going to be even worse is you get crap in your eye to go along with the lens. But now I am wondering what others do - do people even wear eye protection at all - I've never really seen anyone using them, yet we all must get **** in our eyes all time. And particularly others who need glasses/lenses....what do you recommend....can you get prescription eye protection?? Cheers
  8. Like the tune - Fat Freddy's Drop??
  9. As I understand it you will still have to pay the stamp duty on any transfer of ownership - can be a lot of cash to come up with.
  10. Agreed. Spend the money. You won't think about it again :-D
  11. Amazing timing given the weather on Sunday and then last night/today! Job done!
  12. A great man in a small niche....
  13. 2 day big and old Tulip Tree dismantle....each photo taken at a break time
  14. Recently got a 45m Blue Tongue from Gusharts. Seemed to be cheapest at the time? Liking the rope myself.
  15. Ha! Yes I meant the hitch cord, not the split tail.
  16. Funny how 2mm can feel so much thinner. Should be fine with a similarly thinner split tail for the blakes.
  17. Not sure what year it is. Can you tell from serial number?
  18. Thanks for help. Yes saw idles and revs well. Just when in deeper cuts loses oomph. Will get it looked at.
  19. Not sure what the fuel metering lever is, but i did start by wondering about the choke because it was acting a bit like the choke was still on, so perhaps you could be right.
  20. Wondering if this the problem (or another entirely?!!). Plastic looks damaged but I have no idea what it is?!
