    They need to check if there is any covenants on it as there could be a boundary line fence/wall restriction. Are they certain it's even theirs?

    Are they idiot proof? I only have an ms170 but now have 4 chains that are really very blunt as my hand sharpening is rubbish👎 And the local place charges £15 to sharpen a £17.50 chain so I just buy new. Would be good if I could sharpen these chains myself as they have had hardly any use.

    I e got a 23hp kohler that does the bang after switch off sometimes. Mind you it is a 1983 engine!

    We had a ford tractor that did not have one for years as it would not behave with one in. Still blew the head twice over the years though

    I'm thinking of the 40 inch for wide hedge tops. I struggle with the long reach cutters weight wise if I'm honest when hold horizontal. So I'm thinking 40 inch plus my reach will deal with most tops. I've only git 3 hedges that would need the t version I think and I can use what I have for those. Would the r be ok for tops you don't really see?

    Thanks both. Not troubled by single sided as I have double sided hs82r. I want them as the blades are longer and are better I think on the longer taller hedges. I have echo single sided at the minute but they are getting old.

    Sounds dodgy to me. Bank transfer or cleared cheque. V5 not so important as you fill your but in and send it away yourself anyway

    Toro pro are sold under Toros name. Jacobsen is part of textron as is ransomes. I've got 2 Toro ride on cylinder mowers. Both good machines. But the ransomes parkway I've got beats them both hands down. It cuts both long grass and short grass. By long I mean it will cope with up to 6 inches comfortably. And not leave a horrible mess behind(unless it's wet through) I'd have a ransomes commander(5 gang) if I had room to store it.

    The hayter probably had 5 cylinders 4 you can see plus one underneath. Ransomes do the same. These 5 gangs eat the grass at about 8.5 acres an hour. Another choice is a 3 gang which would be more versatile and still do about 5 acres an hour. Toro have started making the big hayters now as they own the brand now I think

    The Oregon stuff is good but remember not too thick. Try the dual nylium (I think it's called that) it has an inner core and stuff round the outside. The really thick Oregon stuff is great for the jet fit as above said if you use the jet fit you need really good line or you will spend your time changing line instead of strimming !

    2.7 or maybe 3 it will big down on anything thicker IMO
