    I totally agree a hand made product is a lot better, can't compare the two. But this is a way I can create something great. I can't even draw. I can create a fruit bowl, but not a perfect looking dragon in wood or a face. So if I can sell wooden creations to garden centres and shops I'm happy. I do indeed think this is the future.     Yes with a 3D scanner, and it will program itself. You run the program in the computer as a simulator and if all is fine you go live on a bit of wood. You can scan the full body of anything and make it. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    I'm delighted to take the next step towards more success. Decided to buy a kuka robot for wood carvings. And a 3D scanner. Any of you guys tried this yet ? Seems to be the future Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    Started in our own forest age 12, cutting down trees to three meter lengths and picked it all up with a John Deere tractor. Worked every weekend sometimes during the week. Did that for a good 8 years and then took employment felling trees beside power lines. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    For surface roots they wasn't as good as multi tip. Couldn't go as deep when swinging the arm. But it did really cut the grinding time down. Specially deep down on the stump itself, wheel seemed to spin easily. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    I was grinding , bricks, stones around the stumps, and was not much damage to the teeth. Seems more durable Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

    Yes it fitted fine, tried it and I'm delighted. A lot less stress and very much faster. Cuts very smooth, even further down is smooth. I'm really happy Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
