  2. L cky out cleaner .makes me feel rather mean just buying wife a new hoover.I will need to take her out to dinner I suppose .....here comes a big Mac and a small coke ,maybe try one of those new fangled drive in thingy save getting dressed and all that expensive parking... !
  3. having had both i would comment as follows if it is a deisel mule then it burns nothing in way of fuel compared to pectrol quad if you carry passengers mule if you dont like trailers and all your gear getting mud splattered go for mule steep up hill mule very stable steep doun hill scary as when you lift foot of trottle the variable speed pulley goes into neutral and it time for new y fronts.to go down safely you nee to use low box and full throttle (can be scary too) except for the kubota which has hydrostatic gearbox so you have engine braking .quads are better going down but not so comfy. a mule has the turning circle of a landrover!!while a quad is a lot tighter,unless you are chasing sheep this might not matter. if you roll a quad you die ,while in a mule you might survive. quads get nicked a lot more than mules mule has a roof windscreen and doors (sometimes)and in minus 10 they are a lot better than a quad or in the rain. i am sure 9i missed a few but there is some food for thought jake:thumbup: 0
  4. Silly me...if you can save up some loads and mix in some biggervstuff .it might work.don't want to travel too far with tractor.but keep me in mind please.

  10. ERM well no engine or gearbox problems just usual transit stuff like front wheel bearings,centre joint on driveshaft.oil leaks ,brakes ,steering rack anti roll bars,.and its a 2005 twin wheel crewcab tipper.

  12. Snowing hard here will need to go and find snowplow in the morning!! Got about four inches ATM but will be a lot more in morn.
  13. Single boarded approx £30 a metre double boarded 37 a letter for everything.
  14. My beat day this season was 17 transit loads of 2.4 cube in a day.all tipped .usual is 4/5 when you can have a chat to customers and maybe stack the odd load.

  17. Why have a dog and bark yourself... I just offered to buy new hover for wife so she can clean up properly behind me .funilly enough she east happy!!
  18. Cleaner .deaf ears yes can do that twenty years with saw and no helmet is my excuse!! I try and shake and dance before I come in but you always miss some ,normally the bit in the belly button or the line inside your shirt along your waist.hard to get blower down a v neck!!!! Saying that sawdust makes money don't work either.jake
