  1. this place is an absolute cess pit at times, I hope you get sorted Eggs...
  2. My band at the time was the Ponddwellers with local legend 'Mad Clive' happy daze! Citadel has been through the wars in the last few years but still up and running and taking bookings for 2023, seen loads of good bands there including Fairport a few times.
  3. My band supported him in the late 90's at the Citadel in St.Helens, great guy and small world!
  4. Trees are a 'material consideration' in terms of planning, it is not unusual in my experience for them to ask for plotted RPA details.
  5. Not oversubscribed Police presence wise here but shortly to be boosted by the fine I'll need to pay for doing 35 in a 30 Zone - probably overtaking the local crackheads and lunatics discussed above...
  6. Snap! Same system but no converter yet - pretty much trial and error, thanks for getting back to me and PM me with any tips!!!
  7. Great photographs mate - can I be really boring and ask what your camera set up is? Just splashed out on some new gear and far from getting results like those!
  8. Speaking as someone who would be assessing I would need to know - condition of the tree and likely lifespan a plan with plotted RPA calculation future 'livability' issues extent of incursion details of 'no dig' methodology Details of the Arb Consultant who supplied the above.
  9. badgers normally have latrine pits to mark territory, hedgehog is a good shout.
  10. Doesn't work like that, we have alleged damage with scant evidence and the Application has been refused, so as I and others have said get independant advice and resubmit, the Council does not own the tree they are doing their duty under the T&C to conserve.
  11. Why would the Council cover the cost if no real evidence has been provided?
  12. He's like most of them, doesn't know if he wants a shit or a haircut...
  13. Forget light and try to find some actual evidence of damage that points to the root incursion, until then the response will be the same.
  14. In my neck of the woods by the Mersey we have shedfulls of young Ash self seeded but within a few growing seasons they all have dieback, I wonder if its a strategy to self populate to future proof existance, if one gets through unscathed it carries on the species?
  15. Warrington have just advertised for two Arbs on the Council Team - see ArbJobs.

    Ash Tree

    Looks more like a Gall?
  17. The damage they inflict isn't really a problem, its just the cosmetic effect and can look unsightly to some. In terms of the extent and effects in evolutionary terms for a species to destroy the plant it relies on is a big no no! When the caterpillars turn into adult moths in the coming months, the trees will start to recover – just in time for the adult moths to lay their eggs in them and start all over gain but not usually in the same trees. Google image the title, the adult is a stunning little thing!
  18. fairly standard for Cyprus oozing sap normal and does not indicate a problem with the tree.
  19. I do like a bit of Japanese Knotweed...
  20. She wanted it up where? 😳
  21. My current favourites to play, ‘78 Precision and a Vector 335.
  22. Sheffield.
  23. 40%? 😳
  24. Do you get paid by the emoji? 😳
  25. Love the Forum, hate the Council!
