  1. Sorted it now👍. Got meself the Ropeman 2 with the tiny DMM spring gate (rated at 4kn). Job done. Thanks Mr Git and MattyF for your help and advice.
  2. My Mrs is from Iowa. Her family are honest (hard) working class ordinary American folk of Native American/Norwegian ancestry. Obama care has really hit them hard. Hopefully all of the useless legislation that Obama forced through will now get dismantled. Just reading the different news reports of all the protests and the violence from around the US really shows the true colours of the so called "caring, inclusive liberal movement' . The irony!
  3. Another one for the otter box. I ran over an iPhone 5 in the car and the phone didn't have a scratch, the case took all the impact. Needed a new otter box but much cheaper than the phone. 👍
  4. Sorry to hear about this, I hope everything works out for you. Sounds like you've been through a lot.... sounds like you have what it takes to make it through.
  5. Re the positive outlook, I noticed your absence on the Europe in or out thread!! You obviously didn't feel the need to wade in on that then!! 😎😇🤐
  6. Good luck doing that with ivy! 🙂

    Guying a big log

Good vid as usual Reg.. great advert for your business too. 👍
  8. We've got a 51 plate forrester. 2.0 turbo (170bhp). Love it. I've had a few different Jap turbo's and this has been the best all rounder. The forrester is lively but can't be described as blisteringly quick. It's a great all round family estate with a bit of a growl. The tuning possibilities are endless but I decided to keep this one stock as I want it to last. Little bit on the thirsty side compared to a diesel but none of the reliability issues. Really good build quality and a joy to drive. Very practical but fun at the same time. 👍👍👍
  9. Loving the first pic... it looks like an erm..... ice cream van/ tractor. The second pic definitely has shades of Aspen Arb about it...
  10. Prosthetic
  11. Gannet
  12. I use a toothbrush dipped in oil/water to cool damaged cutters when sharpening with a grinding disc. Stops the heat case hardening them so they can still be sharpened conventionally with a hand file on site.
  13. Will I still die if I'm signing on, like?
  14. Gregarious
  15. Zebedee
  16. Swaziland
  17. Anointed
  18. My climbing kit is knackered and out of date. Does anyone know any blind LOLER examiners?
