  1. I'm presently "self employed", in some weeks I earn the same as I was earning in a month being a salary monkey.
  2. Other countries, like France, have went down the socialist road and given workers a lot of rights etc. it just means that French employers are unlikely to build factories in France and employ the French. I think we all know that the self employed system is getting abused. However if a government tried to stop the abuse a lot of people would become unemployed...
  3. My local city has a clairvoyant that is meant to be brilliant. I've seen her on the telly and seen some good internet reviews of her. I've passed her "shop" a few times and it's always been really busy. I passed her shop today and it was quiet. I took the opportunity to get a reading and it was.... Rubbish.... I could not relate to 90% of what she told me, the 10% that did relate was really vague *sigh* that's £30 I'll never get back. There have been occurrences in my life where things have happened that were a bit spooky, but this certainly wasn't one of them
  4. I think a lot of "self employed" people are effectively employees. However I think the government turns a blind eye as they'd rather people were out working than sitting at home. Let's be honest, if a small company employed someone that was a no hoper it could effectively bust the company. Without "self employment" many small firms could never bring in outside labour.
  5. I nearly forgot, he drives an Audi.
  6. Maybe getting good staff is nearly as hard as getting a good line manager? My present line manager is a bit of a ****. I can ask him a question and he gives me a 5 minute monologue on something not relevant... He also seems to lack the consideration gene, he parks in a disabled parking bay when he's not disabled...
  7. thinking about it, surely it's "OK" to discriminate against certain groups if they physically cant do the job? I cant see a person in a wheelchair being very good at climbing trees with a chainsaw... I worked with someone that was let go because he was in his seventies and literally couldn't climb the scaffolding.
  8. I had a mate that employed about ten people. He said he had lost count of the number of times he'd employed a woman in her twenties that soon got pregnant and had 6 months paid leave... and then jacked their job as soon as maternity leave had finished... after taking their paid holiday they had accrued when being on maternity of course... He worked in an industry with wafer thin profit margins and paying someone £10k for doing nothing was a large part of his annual profit. I think you can discriminate as long as you don't write anything down...
  9. Perhaps the biggest criteria for employing someone is their sex? If you employ a recently married female in her twenties you can be fairly sure in 6 months time she will be taking 6 months off for maternity leave.... If I was employing someone that had to work away from home I'd probably prefer a single person.
  10. that's not even minimum wage for someone over 21?
  11. you'll have more pulling force the nearer the chain is to the machine. have you considered removing the bucket when doing the pull? just attach the chain to your jib? that way your excavator isn't lifting the bucket as well as trying to pull a tree out. I have to admit if it was me I'd be tempted just to backfill the hole and leave the stump in...
  12. are the trees in a location which would suit a new conservatory?
  13. I don't know why this guy is getting criticised. I've now got a cs30/31 certificate without even having to leave the house. Result.
  14. I think the cost of pitches for shows reduces the chances of getting bargains. I believe the cost of getting a pitch for a hot food van is something like £10k for a big show... I can't see the profit margins for things like chainsaws being huge in the first place.
  15. Pampas grass is meant to be a sign of house owned by swingers...
  16. Sorry Mark. Anyone that advises voting Labour with Jeremy Corbyn as the leader doesn't have a clue. You really think Corbyn is Prime Minister material? Apart from you we can all see that our country is changing with the amount of immigration. Most people would think it's changing for the worse....
  17. Hi Mark, Perhaps you could explain why you want migrants in Europe that will change our way of life? These are some of the things I like about Europe and I think they could be threatened by mass third world migration: 1. Going for a drink. 2. Secular democracy. 3. Girls on beaches wearing very little. 4. Girls on a night out wearing very little. 5. The NHS (I don't believe there is enough money to pay for all the migrants medical needs). 6. Welfare state (I don't think there is enough money to pay the welfare of low skilled migrants). 7. Not having religion interfere with the rule of law. 8. Not having to worry about terrorism. 9. Homosexuals not being attacked for holding hands.
  18. Perhaps the main point is that the police and court system ignored the sexual abuse committed by the migrant gangs and charged Nick Griffin instead? I love arguing against you
  19. More british muslims fight for IS than the British armed forces. If that doesn't show integration has failed I don't know what does.
  20. I bet within 5 years you will have changed your mind regarding the "right wing". At school etc we were told the "right wing" were brainless thugs etc and I believed them. What made me change my mind was the Rotherham sexual abuse scandal. I was disgusted at how the authorities had failed to protect kids against paedophile migrant gangs. I then found out that Nick Griffin had warned about the abuse in 2004.... He was tried for "inciting racial hatred".... I still think that a lot of "right wing" supporters are brainless thugs, however I think a lot of their opinions are correct. Sooner or later you will have your lightbulb moment as well.
  21. Before you go and polish your halo could I remind you that you were the one threatening others with violence..... I believe you were suspended from the site for doing so.... I think 95% of people here know that some migrant groups haven't really integrated with the West. It seems sensible to reduce immigration by migrant groups that haven't integrated in the past.... IMHO the policies proposed by the "far right" are just plain common sense... France has had a "temporary" state of emergency for two years. Even the French will get fed up with this situation eventually.
  22. The nazis hated jews & homosexuals and thought they were the master race. They thought they had the right to invade foreign lands and take them over. They also had a thing for black uniforms. Which other ideology does that remind you of? Hitler should have said Nazism was a religion and you SJWs would have supported him.
  23. You have a very German sense of humour...
  24. So why does the left wing support the community that has the most radicals in it?
  25. In 2012 Le Pen got 18% of the vote in the first round. The two main parties got 29% and 27%... In 2017 she reached the second round... The direction of French political feeling is clear.
