  1. Fair one, I've been out the country and I thought the story was BBC BS. I stubbed my toe today, I've informed the media and you should be getting some updates on the news tonight.
  2. Hehhh! I'm just looking out for the health interests of fatties! I've just spent the last week on a cruise and the number of morbidly obese passengers really shocked me. The reality is that carrying about an extra few stone of fat puts massive pressure on hearts and joints. Imho, fatties are storing up a lot of health problems and shortening their life's. I'm also sure being overweight impacts on the quality of life.
  3. It's a small leak that will get repaired by the company that built the warship. The leak was discovered on sea trials where the main purpose is to find snags like leaks... How can anyone consider it a newsworthy story? It's fake news as it clearly shows that the BBC has an agenda and is trying to score political points. One moment the BBC are telling us they are one on the world's most respected news sources and the next they are giving us trivial stories like this. Do you honestly think this story deserved the media attention it got?
  4. It's fake news as its making an issue that isn't there..... Ships leak... It's just what they do.... Making an issue of this just shows the BBC is either: A. Making some political point. Or, B. Showing the BBC has no grasp of technical issues. You really think a leak of 200 litres an hour on a ship undergoing sea trials is worthy of the main BBC news?
  5. The BBC is making an issue of this new aircraft carrier leaking 200 litres per hour... That's about 5 tonnes of water a day... How many months would it take for the warship to sink from this leak (assuming the Navy never pumped the water out)? So a new warship goes on sea trials to find problems and they find a small leak and it's plastered all over the BBC. This is fake news to make a political point.
  6. Anyone else notice the phenomenon of really fat people eating unbelievable small/ healthy portions of food in public? I was at a table opposite a woman that must have been 4 foot wide and she had a roll and an apple for her dinner.... As if that fools anyone...
  7. Tbh, I think the British climate has a lot to do with it. When it's pissing down outside it's easy to sit in front of the telly and phone up for a takeaway. I also think in places like Spain a lot of socialising is on the beach, if you know 6 months of the year you'll be in a bikini you'll probably want to look good... However it honestly seems you just don't get super fat birds on the Continent. It's like the UK was twenty years back.
  8. I've spent the last week in Spain/ Portugal. One thing that is really surprising is how thin the local female population is. You see groups of girls and 90% of them have bikini hot bodies. It's not like that in the UK where we seem to have more than our fair share of fat girls I have to admit though that Spain is not a patch on Ukraine - the girls in Kiev are real stunners...
  9. Lol, this made me chuckle a bit.
  10. Can you tell who the good and bad ones are? How many terrorist attacks have to occur before you admit the migration system is not working? We gave asylum to the parents of the Manchester bomber...
  11. No matter where you stand on this issue. I think we can all agree that we've let people into the UK that shouldnt be here. What is it now, 3 terrorist attacks this year and 9 stopped by the authorities? This isn't going to stop anytime soon. We better stop acting like children and admit there is an problem.
  12. Why would I not judge Somalians and Afghans by the state of Somalia and Afghanistan? Yeah, we all know that many Somalians etc are decent people. However in aggregate they have produced a barbaric violent country.. They've wrecked their own countries. Why should they come here and wreck Europe?
  13. So what do you suggest? We let everyone into the UK because life is better here? There's maybe a billion Africans, do we let them all in? After WW2 Europe was destroyed, Europeans didn't run away for a better life elsewhere, after a few decades Europe was largely rebuilt. Are you telling me that Europeans are better at nation building that Syrians and Africans etc? That's the very definition of being racist... It's getting pretty clear that Europe is getting a more violent place due to immigration. That's why the extreme right wing are getting into power throughout europe.... It's very very hard not to think that some cultures are just better than others.... Or maybe you're cool with homosexuals being thrown off buildings?
  14. That's a pity he's not going to learn much if he ignores the more intelligent members of the forum.
  15. I'd imagine we're both talking about Africans/Asians etc moving to the West. What about people in the West? Do you think it fair that living standards in the West are reduced because people can't be bothered building their own countries up and just move to the West? Most third world migrants have nothing to offer the West... Even if they did they should stay where they are and build their own countries up....
  16. I've got a question for you. Do you think Dianne Abbot would have got to where she is if she was white? She hardly comes across as being very smart... Imho, if she was white she would have been lucky to become a councillor. So maybe the real story is someone got promoted solely due to their skin colour and having slept with Jeremy Corbyn?
  17. We're clearly not equal though... Anyone being honest would admit that "white" countries are generally better places to live. That's not being racist, it's just being honest. "Expense of others"? What "others" are we abusing? We've not had a commonwealth for a long long time... How do you control borders without "blanket labelling"? Recent events has shown that some migrant groups cause a lot of trouble. The plusses of some migrant groups are small and the minuses are huge.. Trump has the right idea...
  18. Sheesh, at this very moment there are slave markets in Africa where you can pick up a slave for a couple of hundred dollars. However the politically correct members here get worked up about someone using the word "baboon". It's no wonder political correctness is turning into a bit of a joke. Anyway, what should we think about these slave markets? I was thinking they were morally wrong, but then I thought that's it's part of African culture to sell other Africans as slaves and it would be deeply racist to condemn these slave markets. After all it's well known that "all cultures are equal".
  19. Our entire asylum process is based on the idea that British culture is better than others.... When we give asylum to someone from Somalia/ Afghanistan etc there is a clear value judgement that we are doing do because British culture is better than Somalia/ Afghan culture... If Western culture isn't superior to African/ME culture why are so many people risking their life to get to Europe? Why did Zimbabwe fall apart when the White Man left? It's a lovely idea that all people are equal, but it's clearly not true..... I think deep down we all know it...
  20. I just wish political correctness wasn't just a white only thing... Whitey beats themselves up about not offending minority groups. While in places like Pakistan and Egypt Christians are widely persecuted and in places like South Africa white farmers are routinely murdered and thrown off their land (which has been in their family for centuries). The Middle East is quite racist. At the top of the tree are the local Arabs, then come the White Brits and Americans, then come the East Europeans, then the Asians and Pakistanis etc. At the bottom of the tree are Africans, seemingly the Arabic word for "slave" is the same as for "African".... We kid ourselves on if we think all races are into this "hold hands and sing koom ba ya". Anyway, is whitey calling other races racist terms really the main sticking point to us all living together in peace? I'd suggest not....
  21. Come on Vesp! Sort yourself out! I reckon solely investing in gold is bordering on mad! I reckon anyone interested in investing should head over to the "Savings and Investment" board at MoneySavingExpert. I personally invest in the stock market. I generally invest in FTSE100 companies through an ISA and my SIPP. There's a lot of companies that give out good dividends... I like SSE, BT and National Grid.
  22. I saw these trees in Cadiz, Spain.. I believe they originate from South America.
  23. Or maybe we should just admit the "racists" have substantially been right? The likes of Rotherham wouldn't have happened if people like you hadn't hysterically cried "racist" whenever someone mentioned grooming. That's maybe something you should reflect upon?
  24. Seemingly there had been reports of a gun getting waved out the hotel window. The guy looked like he instinctively pulled up his trousers up as they were falling down after crawling along the floor. Even if he had a gun in his waistband I can't see how he could have pulled it out, taken the safety off, aimed it and fired at the two officers who had AR15s pointed at him.
  25. Use tail lift on one vehicle to load arisings onto back of another vehicle? Second hand skip lorry? Use skip lifting apparatus to lift arisings into skip?
