  1. It's hard dealing with people that don't know what they're talking about... Imho, we should be burning a lot more softwood. I'd rather burn Sitka Spruce than hardwood that's been shipped in from the Baltics.
  2. I like Rees Mogg. In a time of bland politicians he's a little bit original and eccentric. He also seems to have the ability to appeal to a wide spectrum of people. He's just been on the news saying the Treasury have been making forecasts up to stay in Europe.... I think we should be trading Theresa May in and getting Rees Mogg as PM...
  3. Tree shears for cordwood and concrete pecker for trunks? concrete peckers are a "normal" hire for an excavator. You could maybe hire an excavator with pecker to see how you get on.
  4. Maybe a free bag of softwood for this stove seller would be a good investment for you? It might make him reconsider the advice he gives...
  5. Just for you Mark. My order of preference is 6, 7, 5, 3, 1, 2, 4.
  6. Just for you eggs. Dont say I'm not good to you.
  7. I'm going to do my bit to fight feminism by posting a picture of page 3. Take this you bunch of dungaree wearing lezzers!
  8. I think women are treated better in society... Until recently women retired 5 years younger than men. The women in the office were saying today they'd call the RAC to change a wheel.... In the history of the world has any women stopped her car to change a wheel for a bloke?
  9. No more formula 1 grid girls How is this good for women? All this means is that some fit girls lose their jobs because some ugly feminists are jealous of their good looks.
  10. Density of air doesn't vary hugely with temperature. At 0 degrees centigrade air density is 1.29 kg per m3. At 20 degrees it's 1.2 kg per m3.
  11. I think we've all read that an open fire is only 10% efficient as most of the heat goes up the chimney. Does this really matter if the heat goes up the chimney and heats the rest of the house? How efficient is an open fire really? How much extra heat do you get from a log stove when it burns recirculated exhaust gasses?

When you watch this it becomes clear that it was widely known Jimmy was a paedo for decades.

Seemingly Saville used to spend a lot of time in hospital morgues...

In that photo Thatcher looks like she's trying to keep saville away. In the photo with Blair and Saville they look like best pals...
  16. The media are really biased... I was watching the Andrew Marr Show this morning. Jeremy Corbyn was being interviewed and they were discussing the lack of social/ affordable housing. Not one mention that opening our doors to the EU is largely behind the lack of social housing.
  17. Turkey and ISIS are two sides of the same coin....

    Two wrong 'uns together.
  19. As others have said the main thing about firewood is the "cost per unit of Heat". The retail price difference between softwood and hardwood is so small that hardwood is still better value for money... Surely a nice straight Sitka spruce is so much easier to split that you can produce so many more logs a day with a processor? Why are softwood logs just a little cheaper than hardwood logs? We all know many people use a log stove as a supplemental way to heat their house on cold evenings. Maybe softwood logs should be marketed as "evening fire" logs? We all know softwood logs are easy to light and quickly get a roaring fire going. These attributes make them suitable for someone that wants a fire when they get home from work until they go to bed a few hours later.
  20. What reports have you heard? I heard some of the men tried to hold the journalist's hand.... It's hardly crime of the century stuff.... Has anyone been arrested over this party? Maybe someone has been charged with malicious hand holding? imho, it's absolutedly bizarre that events at a private party are making national news. The news is either Trump bashing or non stories like this. Trump is right, there is a lot of "fake news" out there.
  21. The women at the President's club were basically employed as sex objects. It's hardly some massive outrage that some drunk men leered at them... You might not leer at fit birds however most men do.... I think the things to take away from this story are: 1. The media and politicians get absolutedly hysterical about trivial things. 2. Great Ormond Street Hospital have too much money if they can give half a million back to the President's club. 3. It would have been good if the media and politicians were as keen to condemn sexual exploitation in places like Rotherham.
  22. In some jobs women get unwanted attention. If you don't want such attention you shouldn't really be working as a hostess in an all male event. In December I took a hot 24 year old shopping to Ann Summers and bought her some love balls. I have to confess afterwards we were walking up some stairs and I slapped her bum. I just hope the Internet police don't come and arrest me.
  23. It's a grey area though. Every nightclub in the country has girls wearing very little getting pawed... And loving it.... Dont get me wrong, to touch a random girl up is disgusting. However we can't deny human sexuality....
