  1. I will put some pics up tomorrow.
  2. I agree. I've been following this thread since it started, it's now not about the end of firewood, it is now getting to be a bitter rant against anyone who dare not agree with you. Many years ago when my grandad ran a company one of his friends who also ran a local company said to him about another man they knew who was doing some less than legal things, my grandad said to his mate that rather being worried about what the guy was doing he should concerntrait on looking after his own company. This has stuck with me and I now follow this advice. I really hope you haven't ruined the spirit of arbtalk with your call to HMRC about this forum.
  3. I had a Rytec, it was a very well built machine and I wish I had not sold it.
  4. You may struggle to find a decent machine with a 12 tonne split for a grand. Most splitters under a grand won't have a Honda engine but a cheap Chinese thing on, the metal on them is monkey metal and they don't last. I had one which I foolishly bought off Arbtrader without looking and it was pants. Save up and get a wallenstein, they are one of the best.
  5. Thanks Steve for doing a great job at organising the raffle. I'm happy I won a prize too!!
  6. How's the canter? Is it one of the new ones?
  7. So you don't pay any cash in to the bank? You may have trouble if you ever get looked at by the Tax man, he will want to know things like where the cash has come from and where it's gone, then he might be a bit curious as to is there any other cash that you have been getting and not declaring, then you have to prove him wrong not him prove you wrong.
  8. Menial do make a wax for them, look ont tinternet. Suede is leather with the flesh side scrubbed to make a velvety nap. Usually made from cow hide.
  9. It keeps going up every year, safely not enough as I've just registered.
  10. You need to put it on Arbtrader mate as adverts arnt allowed on the forum. It's free to post on Arbtrader.
  11. £81k this year is the limit
  12. Looks like a waste of time and energy IMO:)
  13. You a dodgy car dealer now Eugine?
  14. Take the roller box off and then you will see the anvil, if it's not square then undo the bolts and turn it or put new one in as they are not a lot of money. There are 2 anvils so do them both.
  15. I gave up trying to be competitive with the bulk bag for beer money boys long ago, let them get on with it. I have seasoned or kiln dried logs to sell and if they don't sell this year then they will sell next year. I stopped buying in cord and sold my processor and now just use a log spliter and a saw, less messing on I have found. I have a couple of lads that come and graft if I need them. The wood I now use is all the arb waste I have got which last year I sent for kiln drying and sold at a good price, I was still making £40 profit on a bag! I don't advertise logs anymore, just word of mouth and I prefer it like this as I don't get as many plonkers and tight wads calling up.
  16. There not huge glasses Steve but yes those ingredients did make that much juice, because it is pressed out rather than spun or squeezed you get more juice.
  17. It was Geoff, me and my mrs had a glass and my little lad had half a glass.
  18. mmmmmmm 3 Carrotts, 2 apples and 1 Orange. That's for 3 people.
  19. What a real good prize.
  20. A lot of juice recipes suggest psyllium husks for fibre, I put it in my juice. I don't just have juice either, but as part of a nutritionally balanced diet it's great, for me it's so I can loose some weight. I have a juice for breakfast, say Carrotts, apple and orange. Then maybe for lunch I have salmon or prawns and avvacodo in a wholemeal wrap, or some pasta then for evening meal have a decent meal but keeping portions small. Eat plenty of veg and keep the carbs low and a nice bit of fish or chicken.
  21. My Landy is through trust, £650 I think for any driver and with the mods.
  22. Andy, I know someone in the same situation as you and he juices and said its really helped getting vitamins etc, you can add stuff like spirilina algae which is really good for you or for those needing fibre you can add psyllium husks.
  23. A good mate of mine had UC for 25 years, he tried everything and in the end has had to have a colostomy and then following that he has had an internal pouch put in and now lives a normal as he can life, he fought the operation for years and now wishes he had done it sooner as he can get in with his life. Your friend needs to find a local UC support group and talk to other people that are suffering or have suffered and got through it. There is a thread on Arbtalk somewhere by Andy Collins about UC and his fight so it might be worth looking at that. Hope that helps.
  24. The ones that have juice bottles attached seem to be just blenders and not juicers, a juicer you put a whole apple, pear, carrot, kiwi etc in without pealing and it will just extract the juice leaving all the skin, core and seeds behind.
