  1. theres a lot of contractors (and many arbs) who really push their luck when running agri machines on the road especially fastracs and mogs taking advantage of cheap running costs, running overweight and too fast and covering large distances in a day no wonder vosa are trying to crack down

  11. also if you are to be using it to strain make sure you lift the netting up so the jaws catch the bottom strand of the netting otherwise it will make then netting go out of shape and make sure the jaws don't clamp and of the knots because it wont pull up and can slice the wire
  12. I have used one to roll out 6ft deer netting using the long tubes which you lift on. I have also used one on a 3500m stock wire job we just knotted the wire at one end then spooled it out then used it to tension the wire against a strainer or turning post then carried on until the next break in the line (gate etc) which we would then knot it and pull it up with the clamps.
  13. even though they are slow on the road as already mentioned you would need to think about brakes especially if you are looking at a older machines. this would depend on the weight and trailer type and you would also have to think about the load on the rear axle
  14. seatbelts cut out of a car to tow it home with
  15. have a few portable holiday lets e.g. shepherd huts, converted buses etc. it would need quite a bit of input to clean and maintain but could be quite profitable. electricity, water and sewage services would be needed
  16. if the land is wet then cricket bat willows may be a good option but it would take years to get any money back but they could be incorporated in with something else like animal grazing
