I get the impression you have a heart of gold and use the forum to get info for possible future purchases. That to me is what a forum is all about. If people don't like it they are not forced to read your threads. They ARe CLEarLy MaRKed.

  4. Radio has been playing him all day. Being a young lad like I am it was amazing the number of songs I recognised and liked. Think he did something for everyone's taste. Think the term legend is overused but I think he would be deserving of such a title. Now away onto amazon to buy some of his albums. RIP.

Ha ha it sounds even better than it looks!
  6. Rained pretty much everyday since October. I have given up trying to keep the wood dry so have stopped selling! Have moved some into my potato store and currently have them on a drying wall to see how that works. This will be for my best regulars.

Ha ha I might not give you it back though. I've got plenty of wood but it has rained every day since end of October and I've given up with getting soaked. It can wait.

Yes Jon very happy with mine. It was a blessing you not selling me your 660 cos I bought the 9010 off Andrew instead:thumbup1:.

Bugger Bugger and Bugger again. Think I'm going to have to swap my stihl 261 for one of these bad boys. The 9010 is great, my ported 420 is great so I think one of these will complete the set. I will never part with my stihl 461 as it is just perfect.

It was the postie that delivered it. Can't wait for this rain to stop so I can have a real shot. Am I right in saying that this is the saw that wyk did and posted a vid?

Now Andrew if that had been a bottle of Balvenie I would have ordered the saw. I'll just have to make do with the fancy 420:laugh1:

Hey Andrew. Can you pm me your details so I can pay you for the 420 "special"
  17. Exactly. I had a stihl 661 on demo for a week before I bought my dolmar. It was a cracking saw but roughly 300 quid dearer. If you are using it every day then it is justifiable but if not its a lot of money. Shavey was great to deal with and I'm pretty sure I'm his most northern customer. He is Devon I'm Aberdeen. I would definitely buy from him again.
  18. I bought one from Shavey on here. It runs a 30" bar really well. Little heavier than the stihl 661 but he'll of a lot cheaper. Mine has the same bar mounts as the bigger huskys so no problem getting bars. I also have a stihl 461 and it it a classy saw. If you have big wood to cut buy the dolmar.
  19. Am I the only one having a dram tonight?
  20. My latest tipple. Yummy:thumbup:
