  1. Totally agree. By all means make a copy call it something else. Every time I go on holiday I buy `oakaay" sunglasses for couple of quid. They look like oakleys but I know they are not and the Don't claim to be as they are stamped oakaay. Should be the same with saws.
  2. 9! You use them for a living where I use them to keep my 3 wood burners and all my friends and family in logs. I would love to have numerous saws but really have no need to. Saying that have you any tips on how to persuade the bank of wife to let me by another?
  3. Spent a load of money recently sorting minor thing after minor thing. Just worried the next will be a major and should maybe cash in now while it still goes. Fancy a new toy but can't really justify having 3 saws.
  4. Think my wife would sell me if I did that. Don't use it that often and think that a 75cc saw would work alongside my husky 365.
  5. Got saw back today. Cause was a faulty gasket and the ignition coil was on the blink. Running good now however while in collecting I had a wee shot of a 461, very nice. Thinking of ditching the 064 and getting one of these. Do I need my head read?
  6. Why do the tv companies show programmes like these? It depresses the honest hard working Joe and makes the wasters heroes amongst their own waste of space kind. They are the role models of the next generation of dead beat Neds. Britain is doomed!!!!! Bring back National Service. It would teach some discipline to these never had a job clowns. Am I being harsh?
  7. Oh well. Another failure to win anything. That prizes were the Holy Grail!!
  8. Gotta be 16.8. Always wanted a blown out tyre. Hope it's me.
  9. Thanks guys. Will take it in to dealer. I guess that what happens when you think about replacing it, it breaks. I will be keeping hold of it now.
  10. My saw has started playing up today. Won't idle worth a Dam and is revving its nuts off then when you release the throttle it continues to rev. Tried adjusting the carb but has no effect. Planning on taking it to stihl dealer later in the week but just wondering if anyone had any ideas on cause/ solution as dealer could tell me anything to get my cash. The saw is Stihl 064

    New saw

Whether would you get one of these dual port buffs and how big a difference do they make

    New saw

Ok best not to go to 1 then. Work a 20" on the 365 and 30" on the stihl. What would be a good smaller saw. I don't have a preference for brand but I do like my 365.

    New saw

New to this but here goes. I have a husky 365 and stihl 064 and love them both. Use them to harvest large elms. Now thinking about going down to 1 saw. Is tis clever and what saw would be a good replacement for the two? Any advice would be appreciated.
