  7. My tea never goes cold I can assure you! I can jus about reach the links, mite need a shorter length of cord tho. I do have a pantin your right, don't always use it tho if I can utilise the trunk. :-)
  8. Does this setup look acceptable or am I being stupid? I find on long accents that the pulling down and self tending can b tiring etc, with this you can jus pull down on your rope and up you go...

  17. Is that a sling between his zigzag and bridge,? What an idea 👍, and joe is correct, works beautiful with a pantin. Nice vid man
  18. Seems like your man is taking the piss. End of the day if he's your friend or not it affects your business/image/schedule and everything else. He either sorts himself out or finds other means of work imo. Also he can mess things up from his side, you won't recommend him as a good worker therefore he won't get work elsewhere. There are plenty of lads out there wanting tree work who are enthusiastic enough to get outa bed. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  24. Evening all, I've been doing climbing work on an off for 2years, (do fencing and grass cutting inbetween) I've got my 30.31.38.39, but I'm not getting enough climbing work as id like, therefore cannot gain more confidence knowledge experience etc, so I'm wanting to sub for other people to try and up my game. I have all my own kit ppe topsaw ground saws, insurance, and crew can transit tipper, I'm happy to take chip and logs if it helps, in rugby, happy to work cov, leam, Nuneaton, dav. Last two weeks of august onwards available. Many thanks chaps Jamie Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. People earn what they can earn I'm Afraid chaps, i quoted a small conifer today, 2 hours work, drop it sned it load it gone, not worth doing for less than £100, then off on the next job, generally I charge 150 a day, I'm not the fastest climber...but I no what I can get done in a day etc, but I'd want that for grounding too..I feel a groundie is jus as important as a climber, and I'm self employed run my own kit van insurance etc, the upkeep has to come from somewhere, who wants to pay all that dollar in training, ppe, chainsaws, n all the other stuff to earn a 1a a day then be taxed on it? May as we'll work in tesco. Point is we're all in the game to earn/make money so we charge what we can. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
