  8. Ah fair enough, would you be interested in any weekend work should i get something big (bigger then i can handle?) i work with another guy from time to time but wanna do more tree work abd would be cool to learn from a full time climber? Mate has jus bought a 660, 30inch, brand new £900
  9. Yea i agree, im learning that the more tree work i do, i have a ms180 14inch, (selling the 024), a ms310 (putting a 18inch on that), and jus bought a 441 25inch, and got a 200t. Use most of them mosh of the time. Are your saws yours or does nat supply your gear?
  10. It goes quite well, and checked it out with stihl, and its acceptable for that bar to be on it, but ive bought a bigger saw and changing a couple around so dont really need it. How many saws u got?

  14. Wicked! Yea ive spoke to him a couple of times, i do alot of work for the farmers in an around where u dump your chippings. Thats good they value you mate, ever thought of going self employed?

  16. Ah yea i use a cambium saver. Yea man that would be sound, ive done alot of tree work but am still an keen learner so any guidance or help is appreciated man. 👍

  18. Yea if you youtube hitch climber setup the guy uses a triple pulley, with a eye2eye loop. I tried it but didnt think id done it correct so put the prussik back on. Yea bet u lot are always busy. Yea ok dude many thanks
  19. Yea ive seen that, ive got a triple pulley, mite swap over to that, prussik can be hard work at times haha. U guys quite busy?
  20. Is the v.t similar to the hitch climber setup? Yea i agree 8mm be too small. Il jus buy a shorter one for now. Im self employed, do mostly tree work and fencing.

  23. Ok thanks kev... Joe...i use the sewn ones, il give that a go, its fine in the majority of trees jus sometimes it feels a bit too far away from me. U climb for AC Old?

Apologies to butt in....ive seen this hitch climber and am quite interested in it, i have bought a triple action pulley and karabiners, am i right in thinking that when u pull down on the rope to accend, the rope doesnt feed throo the eye2eye/pulley, you just have to pull the slack through from the bottom? Many thanks
  25. Evening all, i climb on a prussik loop but sometimes find it a bit long in length, other then making a shorter one is it acceptable in the arb world to wrap it around my climbing rope 3times rather then 2 or will this impact on it? Thanks guys
