  1. No. Did you grow it from seed or pot it on?
  2. Only if the thread is stripped. Maybe you just wound it out too far.
  3. Vortex strimmer line. Desert Hawk head. Orange strimmer.
  4. Hook out the fuel pipe and see if there any cracks on the bends. Cheap replacement.
  5. I love them. Was going to keep the engine from my first one but as a mechanic friend said, the last thing you will ever need for a Fourtrak is a spare engine. I would take a Fourtrak over a Landy any day. (ABS -- what's that?)
  6. And throw away the key you mean?
  7. Tell her that Pfanners have kevlar testicle protection.
  8. Apply my uncle's approach to buying motorbikes. Buy the bike. You'll get loads of grief. But when it's over you still have the bike.
  9. These are great, as recommended on here: Mesh specs
  10. Farmers are best placed to take advantage of most renewable incentives, whether wind, solar or biomass. They have land, storage and machinery. Many have also diversified into self-catering accommodation, converting empty properties with diversification grants and heating them with domestic heating schemes [biomass] for which they get RHI. And we all know the [true] stories of double RHI for woodchip producers. The system is what it is but the playing field is far from level.
  11. Have you ID'd the cone? As Goaty says will probably need a chill. Sow some now just to see what happens. Stick the rest in the fridge and sow next spring or sow in autumn and leave outside. Be sure to protect from mice.
  12. Some absolutely do, i.e., those receiving ~80% of income from subsidy. I seriously question the 'cheap food' argument, which has been kicking around since the 50's. Supermarkets dictate food prices not producers.
  13. Gransfors and Wetterlings mauls are designed for it. They have hammer polls.
  14. Good point. The Scandi mauls are designed for pounding a grenade or wedge, the X27 isn't.
  15. I have Gransfors, Wetterlings, Oregon (wooden shaft) and Fiskars maul At < £50 the Fiskars is definitely best value for money and splits as well as any The Oregon is a fine maul too. Long handle and well balanced.
  16. That video is pants. It's says nothing about what you are offering to customers.
  17. You and Vesp should get it together. If you try really really hard you might come up with A Fact.
  18. Compared to the IRA commander you mean?
  19. This. The training may be adequate but it's a starting point. Look at it this way, a driving test gets you a piece of paper. It doesn't prepare you for motorway driving, driving on unlit roads at night in torrential rain, driving on snow and ice, etc.
