  6. What was the reason for banning cabling? Like I said I do prefer Cobra for being non - invasive and ease of fitting But it is a lot more expensive. That took me and another 2hrs to fit.
  7. We fitted 3 in a triangle between the 3 main stems. There was one in there already that my boss put in 20 years ago. I prefer cobra but a consultant did a report and we followed their recommendations.
  8. Crown reduction and bracing on a big beech
  9. Aye 7 days a week if I want, north scotland. Very busy all the time
  10. You'd better off building it yourself, get a good strong tub and fill it will quality useful kit. Probably be cheaper too. Strong scissors ,that'll cut chainsaw trousers. Tourniquet. First feild dressings. Eye wash Neck brace Emergency blanket Just what I carry everyone is different but make sure you know how to use it. The rest you can fill with bandages and plasters.

  15. Eco plugs look good but surely there too big to be using on small scrub. I've brushed on and sealed with plastic before I wondered if it was deemed acceptable
  16. I don't think spraying could work as there would be a chance of a drop landing in the water which would not go down well with sepa
  17. I've some small sycamore regen stums to treat in a conservation area over a river. What treatment can I use and best application method ? Thanks
  18. Celtox is good, but only on extreme wounds where a proper wound dressing won't do the job. Surgeons hate the stuff, they have to pick out all the little granuals out of the wound before they can sew you back up.
