  6. A good spray and soak in wd40 for the flip line works best for me
  7. I have the exact same situation. I had an old chipper with a good chassis and wheels. Removed the shoot and feeder. And have welded a splitter to it. Runs off red and hellish powerful. I can tow it back to secure site after use.
  8. 1 day a week, one man operation and I'll be mainly doing big rings.
  9. I'm away to attach my ram and I beam to my converted chipper to make a splitter. I'm not sure whether to go horizontal or vertical. I'd appreciate the knowledge of more experienced guys please. Thanks
  10. After some serious rain last few weeks we had to deal with this landslide. The crane companies didn't want to do it, so we came up with a plan for a recovery vehicle to winch them out.
  11. Had the pro climber lights and they only lasted 8 months but damn those 8 months were comfy
  12. I wouldn't worry about it. I'm with direct line and my Vizsla got run over and broke his front leg at work. Cost £3500 to fix and the insurance company didn't ask a single question just paid out. I defiantly couldn't have saved that money putting a bit aside.
  13. Not picky at all guys, exactly what I asked for and needed. Thankyou very much for taking the time.
  14. Cheers for the advice guys. Yeah my head is hurting after reading through page and page of seo.

  21. I've just received a quote from my local training provider up near Inverness. For windblown and multiple windblown training only with me providing the site. Two days £820 + VAT!!!!!! And another £250 for assesment!!!!! I have done course with them before albeit not for a while and they were normally £600 for 4 days. Is this normal ???
  22. Just to put worse case scenario out there for folks who feel getting down is the most important thing. You cut your arm so badly that you sever the nerves and can't use your hand. You have your other hand to get the dressing out and apply/hold pressure on the wound. How do you get down?
