  1. Chin ups, dips, sit ups, press ups. Anything that uses your own body weight as resistance. Not all strength tho, the more experience you get the quicker you'll be.
  2. Ah my mistake. You could tether the stem down with a winch. Hope that's a bit more useful
  3. Aye no chance of mine sitting back up. What would you want to do with it if it had. Not as if it would have come again. One of the best jobs I've done, one of the easiest too.
  4. Still looking . Can't believe there's no one out there. Can even throw in a couple weeks accommodation if someone's worried about moving.
  5. Stu3k that's some good fb detective work : )
  6. We are looking to ad a new climber to our Moray based team. You need to hold nptc cs 30,31,38,39. Your own climbing kit, PPE and saw. You don't need any experience just a willing to learn and an enthusiastic attitude. Great opportunity for someone newly qualified. Please email [email protected] with a cv or message through this site. Thanks
  7. Ooh I like a little science project but I Think I'll go for the weigh bridge. Is a m3 a ton ?
  8. Aye, how do I measure that?
  9. Yeah I don't have anything to take it out of the wood in lengths. Is there anyway to measure the trailer and do some magic math do take away the air
  10. I have a woodland to clear of dead standing and windblown scots pine. I'm paying per m3 for the wood. For my own ease I'm ringing it in the wood before taking it away in a MOG and large trailer. How do I measure it???
  11. After trying to undo it I've knackered the thread. I would still have to buy a new one after I heated though.
  12. That's what I've done. What did you use to cut the shackle with? I love it, could be in it 8 hours and not feel any discomfort.
  13. Crown thinned a Rowan for a pig.
  14. The bridge on my tree Austria 3.1 harness has worn away to the point I want to replace it. Went to do it today but when I bought the harness I added a petzl swivel to it. I loctite glued the bolt back into the shackle. I can't now undo that bolt to replace the bridge. The only way I can see to do it now is cut the shackle and buy a new shackle. Has anyone else tried to do this or had similar problems. Andy
  15. I'm the same, from cold needs two or three kick ins on the choke. if I run it then leave it for 5 mins then try to go again it splutters for ages before it runs well. Find a go 10 pushes on the bubble makes a difference.
  16. Hi Does anyone know where I can get one. Had a good search but can only find American suppliers. Cheers
  17. Big elm in a cemetery, it was too wet to take any pics yesterday

  20. I've just done my first crane job this morning and really could have done with a radio to speak to the operator. As I couldn't always get eye contact with him.
