  1. Where in Shrops is that? Sent from my GT-S5839i using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Thanks to everyone for the replies. I have to admit I switch off when I hear politicians talking. They have mastered the art of using a lot of words to say nothing. Reading this thread is a lot more interesting. Rich Sent from my GT-S5839i using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. Good news Mrs. Hedgesparrow I'm pretty sure you won't turn into a Unicorn. If you do, everytime you cry can you catch the tears in a bottle please? Either way my very best wishes and don't get overdoing it. Rich Sent from my GT-S5839i using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Serious questions. I'm English, can I just ask how Westminster differs in the way it governs Scottish people to the way it governs the English? I get the fact you are a different country and don't want to be told what to do by Westminster. Is that the only reason? I think I am asking what your leaders will do differently if you go independent? There will still be hard decisions to make. You will still have winners and losers in Scotland. Will this be an easier pill to swallow only because your own nationals have made the decision? The news only show the headline grabbing stories; no pound, no EC, oil running out. I may have missed the bits where they explain you will be better off because ... Usually when someone tried to answer this the debate turns into a squabble and no one is any the wiser. If you do go on your own I wish you well. It will be difficult to please everyone though. I hope I've not offended anyone, that was not my intention. If you do answer can you keep it simple'ish please. Like a list of pros and cons, and you have to be honest not cherry pick. And no kicking off either! I have learned more from this thread than anywhere else. Thanks Rich Sent from my GT-S5839i using Arbtalk mobile app

  9. I remember Wm. Gilpin on the A5 at Churchbridge, Cannock. I had to call in there twice a week. Everything covered in carbon dust. Where was the Whitehouse one? Sent from my GT-S5839i using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. This is very true. I don't do work for youngish people now. To be fair they did provide tea and biccies. The elderly love a natter over a cuppa. I know if your working to the clock you have to keep pushing on. If you can spare a few minutes, listening can be a real education. And yes anyone working here gets put on the tea and cake rota. 20. Yes there are still Ports that unload regular cargo ships. Someone will put me right here I think Teignmouth in Devon (my favourite). I live as far away from the coast as you can get so don't take my word as Gospel. That is another old saying you rarely hear nowadays Rich Edit http://www.abports.co.uk/Home/

    Bad dad

Big cuddle will soon put things right.
  23. I was wondering, is there such a job as a freelance wood chopper? Chopping the logs that won't go in a log splitter. And which is the best axe for Hornbeam?
