  1. It's a bit like listening to virgin, I'm sure they're sponsored by that clinic in Switzerland.
  2. Electricity Northwest are usually pretty on the ball, same day inspection
  3. Think they always said under a certain speed or just moveable. That might have improved since I got mine 10 years ago, it's cheap and cheerful 😀 Probably also why it's not supplied with lights etc
  4. Unless they've completely changed the design, it had 4 rubber tubes jammed around a axle shaft in a square housing. There maybe a technical name for Heath Robinson.
  5. Verge trimming is more a necessity, especially for visibility. The real problem is poor design that forces the usage of strimmers. Take most roundabouts, junctions etc. Posts and barriers and level changes everywhere without enough space, in the old days the council could mow them in minutes, now it's hours and half a van of staffm
  6. Beep/bop/boop, but don't want to get cancelled by Disney!.
  7. IT crowds version was much more moving!
  8. Training isn't necessarily competence. I was more highlighting it's a deep hole to be looked into, as they may have a forklift to that needs a certificate otherwise it's uninsured.
  9. Question is at what point would they need to stop qualification and training. Most call in a tree firm when the job needs doing quickly and cleared. It does open up a can of training worms, as they'll have Greens equipment, spraying, wood chipper, ladders, tractors, loaders, quad/mule etc which all will need training. Then you've got annual checks of equipment and even lifting straps, forklifts etc etc.
  10. I'm surprised Stihl haven't gone electric on the home gamer saws. Not for any eco reason but a cheap way into the brand before actually buying the correct safety gear etc.
  11. I did have this mental image of Mark doing tree work looking like a Musician man with a chainsaw. Two chainsaws with ropes attached to the throttle on each foot, with one of the lads feeding the chipper and sat on it like a horse/how I learnt to love the bomb style.
  12. But you're honour they're crooks, well son you'll be meeting a few more later this afternoon 🙂

I wonder if David Ike is feeling like a plonker for saying they're reptiles ?.
  14. When your previous tool was a bowsaw from toolstation, even a blunt chisel feels like an excellent tool 🙂
  15. Can you get a forehead operated chain brake ?.
  16. Cmon, you just lie and say I think the Mrs said it was...., you'll never be a used car salesman at this rate!. Did you ask the NFU.
  17. You're sure he wasn't just a little tipsy ?, did you ask if it was popperty ping friendly?
  18. Aldi might be German, but thr sweatshop that makes their chainsaws was definitely in China. Unless the Berlin wall was sold off and relocated around a factory in china ?.
  19. Probably the same place as aldi
  20. That did include the handle, roll pin and washer. The nut was available but was like £45 on its own.
  21. Plus being honda, there's probably not a diesel option like the quads.
  22. Starting at 11.5k ex vat, with a 204kg capacity.
  23. It's £72 Inc the vat for the complete assembly.
  24. I thought it was "the power of dreams" ?
  25. Whilst I'm not a NFU member, my insurances have been with them for years. Worth ringing your local office, LV aren't too bad for business use either.
