  1. So we demolished Wylfa which had a capacity of just under 1000 MW 24/7 on a tiny site and they want to keep littering the countryside with these solar panels. I've flown into Manchester, before they even think of doing such things every warehouse and supermarket should be covered 1st!
  2. France is like 75% nuclear, they're not fussed about renewables as they'll just export more of the electricity they produce to Germany.
  3. Or atleast use the rail network to move woodchip instead of wood pellets from the USA & Canada.
  4. What's a rough good price ?.
  5. Thought they made reed bed filtration illegal after the big freeze a few years back.
  6. Woodsure don't fine, it's the local council, technically I think it's trading standards. But nobody has as far as I'm aware, similar numbers to dog fouling and smoke control.
  7. Well if you're buying a splitter on Friday you kinda are jumping into it, especially without a yard etc. If you had the space FOC you can make it work, you'll also need a means of delivery and a long list of other things including insurance.
  8. I don't live in the city, hence the little use of the other local ones being very underused, maybe 2-3 a day on average.
  9. https://www.stihlusa.com/WebContent/CMSFileLibrary/MSDS/MotoMixMSDS.pdf https://powerequipmentcentre.com/msds/MSDS STIHL MotoMix English 1L and 4L.pdf The USA one says a company, as does the Canadian one, the UK version just says Stihl. I would assume it's made on the same continent as where it's sold for transport reasons.
  10. Wasn't that Volvo fitted with a Duncan Cab, I'm sure I have recollections they made cabs for Ford, Leyland etc and sold it to Volvo as well.
  11. You need full planning permission, along with parking area etc. All for an amazing £8-10 an hour on a 10k investment, there are about half a dozen within a 15 minute drive.
  12. You don't need to buy a domain name, unless you're running a company for example. I've never had any problems with hotmail from the NHS and I've had mine since the 2000s.
  13. I think 1st call would be logging into the old Hotmail account you've used as a backup, they've probably sent a email verification thing.
  14. Just pay a chimney sweep, no certificate = no insurance if you've a chimney fire or something similar happens.
  15. Right, back to the original problem. 1. You're Hotmail isn't downloading in thunderbird?. 2. Is thunderbird updated, check it's version 115.6.0 3. Can you log into hotmail via outlook.com ?
  16. 125mb is faster than my super fast fibre, that's around 70mb. Don't be fooled by all this extra speed BS, unless you're 24/7 online gaming and posting cringe to tick tock the basic is fine. They're just upselling you something you don't need at £70
  17. There website said M125 Fibre Broadband is £26.50, that's no TV just broadband.
  18. I had seen them advertised, shame they're not DEFRA exempt as I would have one in a heartbeat.
  19. At £67, you're paying for stuff your obviously not using or refuse to use. Most internet only deals are less than £40, post office include it for £18 on their cheap and slowest product. For reference, sky use yahoo for email.
  20. Is that a Ala Talkkari boiler ?.
  21. Put simply, it's in the cloud so they can earn a living as people pay a small subscription. Buying a new computer every 10 years and using free software like thunderbird isn't exactly going to keep the lights on. Even accounting software is pay monthly, most accounts software has been cloud only for atleast 5 years. Even OneDrive comes free with Hotmail and 5gb.
  22. Think you'll find most email software on computers has moved entirely to the cloud. If you're using it for business you can pay for additional storage or buy office professional.
  23. And how many acres do you think that will buy, and then what to do with it. You can't build anything, you can't live on it, you can't develop it and you can't take much timber for your own use either.
  24. I think if it as the domestic version of time shares in the 90s and part of me hopes the industry eats itself alive before too many people get scammed with false promises and ideas of the good life. Okay I'm biased as a farmer, but realistically unless you own the whole forest or the farm it's just a pointless waste of money. I had one the other month asking about dog fields, she quickly realised fencing, planning etc etc makes it unviable. If it was I'd have done it 20 years ago
  25. Probably not a bad idea to ask the parents, no doubt they'll be a tree surgeon and possibly even a farmer with equipment including a loader that you can encourage to help.
