Why not speak to the history department, ask if they're up for after-school tuition which you're happy to pay extra. That way he gets best of both worlds and the school just puts him in for the exams and at minimal costs or damage to statistics. Also allows the teachers to review progress at the end of the 1st year and it can be either continued or quietly dropped as 11 subjects is a lot. Going external just adds complexity.

@peds you can try the subtle underhanded name calling all you wish. Whilst I'm no wonderkin, I've enough years of education, one below the wall art they call a degree and I even studied to be a teacher.

Isn't one Foreign language still compulsory, so he'll still be doing french/German or Spanish. That's why I was asking for more information, all we've got is half a story so far. Harrumphing they won't let the kid study two simultaneous subjects, do what most of us did and do the best you can and make up for it in college. That's what shows employers and universities initiative and drive to actually do something, instead of daddy paying for extra attention.

Without dating Mick's conversation, must've been 2000 as his teacher would be in his 90s now. The point I was making was we need the full list of GCSEs being taken as 4 including two compulsory is a bit low.

Are you intentionally thick or just a well practiced act?. If you were in school in the 90s you are 50s, of which all your teachers would have retired 25 years ago. (That's 30years ago+average age of teacher 40+) I'll put it simply, why don't you see if you're local school does it as the only ones are generally private grammar.

And when was that ?. Most teachers under 60 will not have studied Latin.

So he's doing compulsory maths & English, plus Latin & computer science. What else are they studying as I'm guessing it's a private school as Latin isn't exactly the most popular foreign language for holiday travel

Me thinks the may sell, becomes a definite will sell once you realise how much space you'll require. Just as an example 30 cages double stacked takes up 18 x 18ft

26 ton is say 30 IBC cages. Granted I use them for ease of moving things around as I've the equipment. As an IBC is about 5 and a bit barrow bags depending on how tightly you pack the IBC or barrow bag.

Plenty of swallows already breeding up here in the Cheshire/Derbyshire borders. Just can't get the little buggers to nest in the boxes under the shed gutters, might try some wooden ones instead of the plastic/concrete ones I spent a fortune fitting.

Does that tip have a knurled nut with a spring and fuse ?. Thinking if it was a loose nut causing a poor connection then melting the plastic.

Blocked strainer or too thick a chain oil ?. Just thinking either of those would strain the pump and cause excessive pressure and wear.

At today's briefing we had to bring in pine scented bleach, because the officers could only sniff out bs.

I use a shower to get clean, a bath is generally sitting in your own filth. Plus don't get me started on those weirdos that shave in the bath, that's just worse on every level. A hot tub is usually for when you're clean and wanting to relax, added company would always be a bonus.

I've seen them installed both ways, but was always told grooves down allows better surface area to keep the timber dry and prevent warping as the flat surface is usually sealed/painted etc.

Daft question, did you buy from a distributor or yourself?. Just thinking you might have mixed up the OD and ID, so it's shorter 🙂

Top as it's a single bolt, the lower is one of those adjustable angle of dangle types.

Think you got the wrong size belt, there should be a lot more lack. But a tyre iron/screwdriver can be used to lift it up and roll in into the next groove as you turn over the engine obviously with the spark plug disconnected.
