  1. Plus you also have to question wtf was happening for two years as he slowly took them down. I can fart in a direction and the council would be here in the morning.
  2. Whilst they are under your direction, you're responsible, within reason obviously. You could argue due diligence etc etc.
  3. And you're surprised?. Wasn't there a case somewhere where the fine was sizable, this probably barely even covered the cost of the court lighting let alone the actual case.
  4. Fabricate something as it's not just off the shelf. These might require a little grinding etc Kontak Valve Block Replacement Handle Set WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Part of our large holding of Kontak Valve Parts. Bracket to attach to Valve Block. Consists Of:19cm Long... KONTAK HYDRAULIC VALVE SLICE HANDLE WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for KONTAK HYDRAULIC VALVE SLICE HANDLE...
  5. Cut and paste the number into Alibaba or similar and they'll be pages of them, bit like Winton and a few other similar companies. Usual we have designed or improved etc, no mate you have imported a container load of cheap stuff to flog and will probably be their downfall as even their log splitters are looking very Chinese nowadays.
  6. Chinesium of the lowest order. Any machine with that stupid numbering screams Chinese tat at that price for something that's new.
  7. Why, you don't sell it by the ton unless it's on a lorry.
  8. Wrong type of biatch 🙄. Dyslexia again ?.
  9. Erm closer to 60hp it's a 1970 tractor. Always run tractor equipment at around 50%, gives plenty of reserves when it gets bogged down. Plus you'd realistically never chip over 130mm unless you want biomass chip.
  10. Yes, on older machines are usually 540 rpm on the PTO. Newer ones are usually 540 & 1000, it cuts down on the fuel usage, but you get more torque on 540. The 540 chipper will have a gearbox of some kind, whereas a 1000 will be direct.
  11. Whatever you're looking at will need to be 540 I'm guessing.
  12. Either get a Cat or wait until you retire, you could always go for hens for a bit of weekend cleaning and mucking out.
  13. It's used to get the engine warmer quicker as a diesel lump takes a lot to get upto operating temperature.
  14. That's kinda irrelevant if you're going to eat to stuff instead 🙂
  15. Yeap, ethanol has been a complete con. Reduced MPG, meaning you burn more and wasting corn to brew it. If the idea of brewing it from waste crops had worked or a bacteria like they do for insulin that would be fine. But surprisingly it's not!.
  16. Petrol isn't really oil, it's a fraction product. Bit like icing as part of one of those bake a cake boxes.
  17. Didn't we have a Spanish tree company here recently, maybe they can give him the reality check of working in Spain ?.
  18. Think you already know what the next thing to replace or rebuild. Seals don't last forever on any hydraulic pump or motor, just depends if it's cheaper to reboot replace. Replacing is quicker plus peace of mind.
  19. Absolutely love the X5, don't think I'll ever go back to normal dB ear defenders. It's not blissful world of your quiet own, but bloody close.
  20. What colour is the boathouse at Hereford?
  21. There's some waffle about it on the firewood certificate thing, including the London Plane Lace Bug. Weirdly zero links to Christmas trees imported, instead blaming wind blown source from Europe.
  22. Haha, I'm only 42, so I'm just a whipper snapper 😉. Nice too have met another member albeit a few year back. I stripped absolutely everything off it including the guard and upped the hoses 1/2" feed and 3/4" return hopefully it breaths easier.
  23. Or buy a used diesel hydraulic pack or at a push a PTO hydraulic pump and tank from flow fit. My little one cylinder does about 35lpm and probably drinks a gallon of red a day, only wear ear defenders to ignore the walkers and keep my ears warm.
  24. Drive it like you stole it, or get a smaller model.
  25. Mixture and probably not running it long or hard. See plenty of people running them like electric ones, start stop all day long. You start one and you run it hard for half an hour.
