  1. I wonder if @manco has trouble getting staff, keeping them is probably the least of his worries. Would you work for £92 a day today, sweating your arse off and no doubt having you shouting and swearing like some beasted recuit?
  2. Well the Asda brothers did buy an airplane or two.
  3. How many tonnes of tax free jet fuel does a A380 use ?
  4. Don't look at the EU requirements for new cars. Think everything new has to be fitted with a version of OnStar.
  5. Hum, I have a feeling my 4 litre Perkins won't be going electric. I can use 2000 litres not going anywhere!. If you believe they'll reduce the tax on fuel, I've a Nigerian prince who has a investment opportunity for you.
  6. And what's wrong with the bases of the current basic model, the more miles you do the more you pay from using fuel as your average car driver doesn't pay much ved. The only real sticking point for most of us is the EV owners getting off absolutely Scott free. Large vehicles don't really pay a lot as they're expected to use more fuel, whilst the tax isn't ring fenced from ved or fuel for road repairs. Maybe ring fence the tax from ved, fuel and those EV tariffs?.
  7. Is this the point where he pops up and tells us the keys were a clue that it was from Gregg's?.
  8. I could be arsey and say that Facebook is for general moaning if you don't want help. Always call them unless it's less than £50, same goes for breakdown, TV and any other bills excluding utilities as that's just a waste of oxygen dealing with the system. And comparison websites are just the pointless work of the devil, unless you like them profiting off your information.
  9. Might be worth doing the full length and getting some fencing guys in. Nothing worse than half a fence line and gives you the opportunity to straighten it up in the process.
  10. I'm more intrigued as to what the electric board are doing to the left with four stays.
  11. They certainly learn, but FAC give a little advantage of distance. Need to start clearing the overgrown again before the bluebells start growing over the next few weeks.
  12. Same here, I only ever get the occasional weirdo that's taking a leak field side or one of the utilities guys. Always seems to be when I'm in camo on the hunt for squirrels.
  13. HW90K was the last Weihrauch I had, definitely getting another one day. I got lazy afterwards with PCP and had Air Arms, possibly my 5th. Just remember whatever you're budget it's 200 for a decent scope plus sports match mounts.
  14. HW100 are just a bit pricey tho, bit like the whole FX fad. Yeah they're nice but I want to use it not spend three weeks playing with it or worry about dinking it.
  15. Well don't sit on @Botty Cough's fence.
  16. Had a sub 12 huntsman, I hated it with every fibre of my being. Air arms are a bit bulky but a dream to shoot from 12 to FAC. If it's sub 12 S410 are cheap and short even with a moderator, FAC is the S510 but awful moderator as it's a shrouded barrel. Depends on budgets.
  17. I think you will care if someone gets a zap on a barb wire fence they are more likely to cause more possibly life threatening damage to themselves. As you're then leaving yourself liable for paying out a very large sum of money, hence why plain wire is ok but barb is not. Even worse if you're doing it along any public access routes.
  18. Yeah, and every traveller has always found the lock to have been broken beforehand, how do you prove it. Electrifying the fence just makes you more legally culpable, a plain wire you can justify a barb wire shows intentions to do harm regardless of signage.
  19. It's a civil offence, you have to show they've done damage. Obviously if they've stolen something off the property, that's theft which is a criminal offence.
  20. Just pick up a phone and call a decent sized arb company for them to do it for you. No sod is going to rent or loan a saw that big, without you signing over your life savings, house, wife and possibly a few IOU handies.
  21. I was more picturing d day style
  22. Do they do those metal x things down at the agri wholesalers?.
  23. Simple answer you can't, on top of say security fencing isn't a problem tho. What are you actually wanting to prevent ?.
  24. Are they original blades, as I think they're hollow ground. So if they're just straight that would explain the overbite.
