  1. Is it a 14644 key ?. I ask as I fitted a new ignition switch to a hatz control box the other year and it was a cheap aftermarket, utter garbage that hates water unlike the original.
  2. Definitely see if there's any farm tip sites and have a chat with them, they'll probably know someone or be atleast willing to find a bit of space for a shipping container.
  3. It is all loose but I fill to the top as it naturally shrinks and settles down, without a lid I would guess 20-25% providing it gets airflow. I have used tarpaulins in the past, providing they overhang down the sides on the edge of the stacks they will dry perfectly well. It just isn't easy to acces the stack without it becoming a hazardous sail/parachute.
  4. All of mine is stored outside in IBC cages on hardstanding, all have a wooden lid with a decent overhang on top of each double stack. Average tends to be less than 18% even though the middle of winter.
  5. You're probably right if it predates both of us combined!. Time for an upgrade, they aren't that expensive new. I loved my UK made KIDD topper before I swapped it for a flail.
  6. It's probably a Comer gearbox, best having a look for a small metal plate with details of it's ratios. Just as an example 1:1.47 ratio Comer Type Grass Topper Main Gearbox Clockwise Direction Fleming Abbey Conor WWW.EBAY.CO.UK Find many great new & used options and get the best deals for Comer Type Grass Topper Main Gearbox...
  7. The real question is what do you use ?. Maybe see if you can put up a vote for which fuel people use, I suspect 90% are just on petrol station mix. YMMV, but you don't need a PhD level analysis for choosing your poison.
  8. There be dragons, yours just happens to be made in Japan.
  9. What do you actually want in the end as a final finished surface ?. But definitely put in perforated land drainage as deep as you can, then surface water can be a goal once it's all settled and knitted deep down and stable.
  10. A great philosopher once wrote, naughty naughty very naughty 😉
  11. Or eBay, I tend to buy Gator at £51.39 Inc vat & delivery. I had priced a barrel a few years back and the price per litre never stacks up against eBay, even buying direct is vastly more expensive.
  12. You could argue it might increase employment in higher paying jobs as your employer might need 2/3 or 4 people to fill the gap. Especially if rishi and his masters gets their wishes of having tax standardised around the world.
  13. Yeah, but I could earn my yearly salary in a couple of days doing what you do 😜.
  14. And as has happened recently, thrown even more people into a higher tax bracket, so they're either working less hours or financially worse off.
  15. Maybe he wants a callout to check if that new build sapling can take a fat arsed rugby player going up against it ?.
  16. Shock horror, pay people more and the cost of goods goes up and they are still left in real terms the same as they were before. Maybe if they replaced the bank of England management with self made millionaires reality would miraculously reappear.
  17. They don't live that long, that atleast 12 generations according to google
  18. I knew Myxomatosis was rare in Hares, but having seen it in rabbits they become absolutely oblivious to everything and become an easy fox meal. But like you said, it might have not seen you as a threat. Usually they hunker down if they're a bit unsure before bolting off into the undergrowth. It's that or you found the thicko of the bunch 🙂
  19. What about Myxomatosis, granted the eyes looked clear or could have just been deaf.
  20. Probably looking at 3 pallets if you're asking a pallet force company. At a rough guess around £200 as it's both volume and weight.
  21. Bloody youngsters, mocking us with their 1 points!. I'd actually hate to see what the version of that list is for a Gen Z. I'm surprised that list didn't include being Tango'd
  22. Without wheeling out the ole trust me I'm a welder quote and insert other job titles as necessary 😉. Probably best finding a dedicated DPF garage that's got a decent reputation. But never a bad thing checking the simple things like the vaporiser or add some more cleaner but let it sit for 30-45 minutes. Anything more complicated is a diagnostic tool job and it's pointless just going to a normal plug & play change a part kinda garage. Especially if it's adblue as that's an electronic injector system.
  23. Refering to his videos, that sensor pipe is the way he adds the cleaner. Which seems the most logical way to add a cleaner without removing the DPF, if the vaporiser is the problem it shouldn't reoccur once sorted.
  24. I watched one last night DPF problems, guy spent thousands and not got sorted including a new particulate filter etc. This guy hooked it up to the diagnostic, realised the wing mirror had been replaced that didn't have a temp sensor. Did his usual DPF cleaning, new wing mirror and other than a fan that needing replacing all sorted. Having watched plenty, I'd suggest looking at the fuel vaporiser, you can do that without taking it apart and probably on your driveway.
  25. I'd watch a few of these and you'll find most garages don't seem to know what to do.
