  8. i call them scavys because they normally go around digging other peoples shyt to make money but yea i could of put a different title:) anyway they got caught and arrested.ive giving a statement and police got statement off neighbours and found cut off padlock on back of his van which they said its an evidence of attempted theft so hopefully they wont gateway with just a caution.ive done everything i can do legally so rest of it up to system.there are other things i would like to do to them but i dnt think police would be very happy to see me doing that.this is where justice fails imo where people trying to protect their stuff from these idiots they cant touch them because its not lawful.;/ Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app

  10. just caught 2 guys jumping on back of tipper to take aluminum chipping box off an hr ago, ive let them do what they were doing....:001_rolleyes: my tippers chipping box made out of 3 separate sections that you can take it off if you dont need it.ive locked them with padlocks so its not easy to take off.they came cut the padlock and gone then came back an hr after while i was outsite waiting with a big plank of chesnut:thumbup1: anyway they soon run off and jumped in a scrap van waiting end of the road,:001_tt2:and guess what ive got the number plate rang police and they got caught in 10 minutes police just been around to get a statement and said they got locked up:lol: result:thumbup:
  11. haha i nearly did put my details to see processor:)) half a sleep
  12. i think having a experienced groundy is very important.if you have a second climber that doesn't have much clue or interest in business and his there just so he can be part of tree gang and takes 10 minutes to send a saw up while trying to check his facebook or cant set lowering gear and keep asking you, clearly there is something not rite there so i d say some groundy s worth more than a climber so IMO it all comes down to having a good team that co-ordinates,communicates and works organized so it doesn't matter who does what everyone must put %100 so you can start and finish the job with no troubles:)

  24. "climber should be attached to the tree with 2 life lines at all times" so it seems like you have done that bit rite but you suppose to have your rope instead of lanyard really like Steve mentioned why you should have!,you can do that with basic prusik setup.just like you would normally climb up with prusik but instead of a branch you got your setup around the pole. our apprentice went up a pole other day with just flip line and when i asked him if he haD the correct setup the answer was "OF-COURSE" so i kept my mouth shut then he goes up 20 ft high and comes a cross big branch stub sticking out then shouts down."HOW DO I GO PASS THIS":001_rolleyes:
