  1. Congrats to you pal, ive got a 7 month son, and a 3 year old. The youngest was exactly the same, he had acid reflux, took gaviscon etc. Both had colic as said above. Try colief. Worked wonders with both my lads. Quite dear at 12.00 a bottle but you can get it on prescription ( after trying gaviscon as Dr's are tight as) it is hard pal, try and get a nap if travelling and not driving. Your in the zombie zone atm [emoji3] it'll pass soon ( hopefully) - all the best Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  2. Cut back a hedge on a building site the other week for a footpath 1.2m wide. Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  3. It's nice and simple, the very first problem came today though, I threw a log on and pushed one of the sides out, maybe tec screws better than rivets? This was on the truck from 2014 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  4. Arctic mudflaps 👍 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  5. I'd suspect bad fuel, not sure how to really drain a tank, but maybe that and change the fuel filter, fresh fuel and try again pal Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  6. As said above, crank sensor on front of box? Or an earth if used on gearbox bolt? Does it crank or car dead like flat battery? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  7. Ally sheet riveted on, key up with wire wool ( or abrasive disc) red oxide primer and couple of coats of leyland trade metal black. That's what's on ours. Sign writing on and no mishaps with the jet wash as of yet ( 10 months on the one truck and 2 years on the other) Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  8. Hi all, friends of mine have asked if I could reduce some conifers for them need someone to come chip the brash for me, and remove from site. Give me an hour of your time max and all brash will be dragged out and sned up ready for you. I'll get more details when I look at the job, ie 1/2 load, full load etc but could someone pm some prices please. This will be on a weekend so If your working a Saturday and fancy dropping on this in the afternoon let me know. Nothing is guaranteed as I haven't even seen the job yet and not guaranteed to get it . Cheers Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  9. Sounds simple enough if abit daft but if it works! Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  10. I will certainly not rule out the opposition when it comes to buy, it will be in a couple of years time and budget will be around 8k. Obviously if my budget was 20k it's a no brainer, but I wouldn't buy a hilux etc with 100 odd k on for 8k. I'd rather have a vehicle with a remaining manufacturers warranty (a couple years old age wise) that I plan to keep until it dies. I'd feel like a ticking time bomb in a high mileage 4x4. Personally for me, if a manufacturer is boasting a 6 year 125k warrenty they must have faith in there product, as for spec, yeah I do want some decent equipment 👍when I'm shelling out that kind of money I cba with winding my windows down 😁 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  11. Has anyone got any ideas of a simple way to make a retrievable rigging line by myself? Lads normally flick to me or clip onto my line after disconnecting from the piece but if I'm quite a ways out of line not long enough it's a struggle? Sure this must be simple? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  12. Not enough. Full stop. Granted I've had a moan about my wages at 85 a day, but I'm not working till that time. Give the lad 90 quid a day, let's be honest that's a couple hours work for a two man team. If he's over 25, 80 a day that's just scraping minimum wage, which is fine thats If all kit us supplied and maintained on behalf of company Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  13. Sorted cheers pal 👍😂 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  14. It bogs at full throttle and dies 😦 is there any way to save it? Can't really blow on half throttle 😁 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  15. Was just in reply to the Citroën relay pal, my truck will be a runaround with the odd job Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  16. No idea what I did but it's worked 😂 It was a no go with the adjustable needle just blanked off so i stripped down several times but the only difference I think is that the diaphragm that sits above the needle valve and float I pushed concave as it was curved the other way, thus maybe pushing on the float as apposed to away from it? Thanks very much for your help gents! Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  17. Agree 100% mick Many times I've ragged hawthorn hedges out with a 4x4 Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  18. I'll plan to keep it till it goes bang 😂 I just wouldn't spend 8/9k on a truck with mileage like I've seen in the hilux etc Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  19. Also just been on ebay very first things came up; 2007 hilux 156000 miles- £8500 2012 great wall 35000 miles £8500 2010 rodeo 98000 miles £8500 I understand this shows the depreciation of the gw, but mileage does it for me? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  20. I'd be looking at the used market anyway due to funds. The 2016 is much improved from the first ones that arrived. 6 year/125000 mile warranty which beats the rivals. Towing capacity up to 2500 from 2t. I know it's lower than other trucks but this won't be hard working. Better interior design, better quality plastics used. I'm not writing off the others at all but I'm struggling to find a mainstream rival that will give me the specs and mileage for the price. This will be a purchase in a year or so anyway Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  21. Hi all, got to look at a job reducing a medium copper beech but the customer wants it done ASAP and half off. Tree in good condition previously reduced heavily with some hefty diameter branches removed. 6-8" almost low pollarded? My cuts will be upto 3 inches. Unfortunately no pictures, but am I OK doing this now and by this much? Don't want the cash going to someone else who doesn't care! Tree approx 2ft diameter at the Base and around 35-40ft tall. Crown spread say 8m Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  22. Granted this one is a year old with 7.5k on the clocks http://www.mtc-subaru.co.uk/used-cars/6276480-great-wall-steed-td-se-4-x4-dcb/ Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  23. How did you manage that? Nissan website says from 29,100? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  24. Has anybody got one? It is chinese made I know and only a 2.0l, but won't be doing major work at all, great spec, leather, electric etc etc and only around 17k? Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
  25. Those voltages show a good battery and the alternator charging. I'd suspect an earth fault or loose/corroded connections on the starter. Check drive belt tension, alternator connections, starter connection and earth. Possibly earthed from negative to wing and maybe one from engine to bulkhead. Possibly. Not sure on earth locations on your model Sent from my SM-A300FU using Arbtalk mobile app
