  1. It's a skinny lime, 14 inch dia. Wish I was able to use the garden behind as access but it's an absolute no no!
  2. 2t rating as anchor for pulley with steel krab. Just awkward, will be able to chuck so much but there is a green house and shed in front of the tree situated at bottom of garden and only a 2/3 ft crazy paving path.
  3. Hi all just a quick question, Awkward job coming up and i'm wondering if I would be able to negative rig timber down using a very basic setup, ie. Endless sling , swing cheek pulley and rope and if yes how much regarding size would be acceptable on the system, no base friction device though. Thanks
  4. Hey all, I'm after a lower split shaft off a kombi please. Need the lower part of shaft which you connect attachments to No need for handle/throttle. Or does anyone have a 0.5m aluminium extension? Cheers
  5. Hi all, Just wondering if you could use a mallion for end of lanyard that you don't remove? I.e the end with the pulley, prussik etc. Got one on the bench here and it seems a waste of a 3 way krab! Thanks
  6. Hi all, I am new to climbing and I am struggling abit with a few things but mainly getting out on the branches... I don't know what the problem is, I anchor into a point bigger than my wrist, sometimes tree dependant as big as my thigh! But I'm not very confident at getting out on the branches, any advice at all? I start walking out but only get a slight way out before looking for a growth point to bring them back to! This is ok if only cutting back but I know I need to overcome the fears. It's not the height that worries me it's the branch/ anchor point. Help appreciated Thanks

  11. Yes sorry hedgecutter head. Unsure of what's causing the issue. Noticed a bolt missing at the tip then another around half way down.. At first I thought a spacer was missing but they are complete I'll try a bit a bit of thread lock Thanks
  12. Hi all. Blade bolts keep coming loose on km130 Are these bolts supposed to have thread lock? Too tight blades don't move, too loose and they drop out. All sliders are there. Noticed bolts have red on threads presume this is old loctite? Thanks
  13. I l my long arms are like triggers broom! I can always trust the old hs45.. Back of the tool box and only gets treated to scrub clearance! But credit where it's due pull them out and fire instantly even if not used for a fortnight! Anyone had any trouble with km130 lack of compression? Ongoing issue. 2013 model. Rocker keeps popping off the valve. Take it to dealer all they ever do is push it back on... Thanks
  14. Buxtons for you. They wanted 265 for kombi head! I bought some non genuine blades from ls engineers brown hills. They are sneaky though! They only list genuine stihl blades but if you dig deep enough you can find non genuine that fit, but of course they don't list them as fitting hl or km! £46.00 for a pair! 265 quoted for kombi head at Buxtons. 212 at TFM. Used shaft for a cheapo pole saw I had lying around Thanks
  15. Kombi head bought! Wouldn't entertain rebuilding box. 212 Inc vat. New blades are 130! Thanks all
  16. That's what it's looking like. All pinions are seized and have stripped teeth. The one that engages with the cog to turn blades has disintegrated! Not looking easy to fit! Will ring a few places tomorrow. Thanks
  17. Thanks when I click the link for gear housing including parts 1-34 (complete unit) it says no parts Available.

  19. Cheers, just ran it through some ash, cuts well, 20" bar, still has 99% of paint on it, tidy machine, does smell hot when you turn it off, no smoke, can't really pin point where its coming from.. It is loud though, not sure if has pin hole in exhaust or if thats normal? Compared to ms460 this 390 sounds louder, but now its mine I'll look at it.
  20. Hi all, been offered a 2009 stihl ms390, any advice for buying this saw? It is from a friend, not done too much work, just been cleaned and serviced but he says it sometimes smells hot when used? Any ideas what this problem could be? Thanks
