  1. Hardwood £94 for 90x90x90 £120 for 97x97x110 Softwood £84.00 90x90x90 £100 97x97x110 not prepared to work for free and at our prices we don't get the hagglers and very few non payers mostly professional people easy to deal with. We are just processing whats in the yard and some of the windblow on the estate atm and waiting to see how things go. not investing fortunes into stock for economy to tank and people stop spending when we are on the luxury end.
  2. yep but it's only a 4 or 5 meter reach strange all my pics coming in sideways.
  3. I'll do a billet bundle £100 delivered incl vat depending where in Fife or you can arrange someone to collect from Perth.
  4. and £400 for the test if it's not on your license
  5. you should have asked him the meaning instead of going to urban dictionary they gave it a very aggressive meaning you would also refer to your mates as bams or bampots if you were still in the 80's
  6. it's 18t machine but I would guess top side of 20t when we are loading it up with 6 and 8 meter lengths, we offered the timber I think £40 + vat roadside was a few months back might have been £45.
  7. but it was for meeting EU renewable targets that won't be necessary anymore Xaltu if Gov doesn't honour the result I think you will see anarchy on the streets.
  8. I'm so busy had a 4 hr nap on the sofa yesterday and watched about 9 hrs of tv today.
  9. hows it democratic for 5 million scots to overrule 55 million in england, when Scotland voted remain they knew this referendum was coming and it would be a UK vote and thats what they chose
  10. shes been told she can't remain in the EU from a regional perspective, Scotland would need to be indy and apply like everyone else and with a deficit of 9.2% we are actually below Greece any application would be rejected. Sturgeon has to do this because SNP is a 1 policy party
  11. you should do like us jocks and just boycott International competition
  12. I think it was £60k or £70k
  13. thats a surprise, they were supposed to be shipping out about 60 pallets a week, I remember at wilsons demo last year they had ordered the posch K540
  14. who?, only thing I have heard is a new guy looking to start based in perth wanting to buy 10 Artic load of birch but no idea of name.
  15. spending has been very low since 2014 with SNP keeping banging on about another Scottish Referendum so we have a 2 year head start on everyone else.
  16. thought it would be kind of positive for firewood guys with machinery import getting even more expensive for the part timer to undercut with and the chance of kiln log imports getting more expensive then with a weak pound exports will go up so the forest industry will be back on it's feet so contractors will have less time to dabble as well and you never know cord price might even drop if more comes to the market but then maybe I'm over optimistic.
  17. What's this going to do for RHI payments for everyone who's gone kiln drying route and might slow up the imports, interesting times.
  18. Jas Wilson sell them
  19. it's only money and you have plenty go buy one, I'd recommend for logs though you go for a 5 tonner or you can't carry much.
  20. you can put them on the road but pretty slow think that one top speed is 10-15kph we bought second hand so didn't come with the mirrors and indicators it's also 11ft 6" wide, tractor trailer certainly better for road work but also limited in it's capabilities.
  21. dixons glasgow do green nets too.
  22. Cutting a bit of oak and birch although not many birch are blown in the area we are at, only managed around 80 bags or so but will get started saw benching the billets in Aug/Sept got the old man in for a bit of scale.
  23. Posch winch is pretty powerful think maybe 1t pull, there was a video on a thread last summer where we winched full length trees with it, it's great if your doing 18" 24"D oak at 1m lengths they are hefty to manoeuvre but simple with a set of tongs and there is a hook on the posch you can hang them out of the way. the radio control failed on ours after spending £500 and not fixing it we decided just to stick with the handle.
  24. I won't pay anything for it, people can tip as long as they bring decent stuff now and then but we usually give the logs away because of the poor quality you get out of that type timber, it's not easy trying to get a standard 10" from rings 6-15"
