  1. Cheers Eddie, thankyou, great idea. Unfortunately there is very little room between the back of the dozer blade and the cab. Pretty sure when rotating the cab the engine compartment would knock into the receiver hitch box section. Cheers, Steve
  2. I paid £900 for a used Anssems, much better than the UK rubbish out there! Just joking
  3. Haha! I'll be using a cordless drill too. Do you tow big trunks using a chain attached to the ball? Cheers, steve
  4. The Ifors are strong, but heavy. Check out the Anssems PSX1300 (dropside platform braked trailer). Strong but not too heavy, well made (German) & with 1600kg running gear. Did I mention versatile? Also check out the Humbaur Loady (1300kg tipper).... but expensive and probably not in stock anywhere! Cheers, Steve
  5. Thanks for help. Think I'll drill a couple 16mm holes and bolt/unbolt. Just need to remember to leave a spanner in the cab. Next question is: Any benefit in fitting a ball & pin type hitch (instead of just ball on it's own)? Just wondering if the pin might be useful for dragging trees out of the woods? Cheers, steve
  6. Looking to tow a small trailer with a mini digger and wondering the best way to attach a towball. Presumably the towball is attached to the dozer blade? Is there a way of doing this so that the towball can be easily removed/ quick release mechanism? (ie, leaving the dozer blade clear for scooping soil with the bucket). Cheers, Steve
  7. Thanks for this, very helpful. What is GA?
  8. GTW.... Gross Train Weight = Total Weight of towing vehicle (fully loaded) + Total weight of trailer (fully loaded). The total weight of both should not be more than the GTW Did I get that right? https://www.gov.uk/towing-with-car/car-towing-weight-and-width-limits
  9. Getting to the nitty gritty of what trailer weight abbreviations actually mean: GW = Gross weight GA = ? Gross axle? Confusing.... Any other abbreviations explained in this thread, hopefully!.... Cheers, Steve
  10. I spray all of our firewood with dry ice, works a treat.
  11. Have you seen the film Déjà Vu?
  12. Could try letting the back tyres down, flat, and inflate the front ones, hard! p.s.... or drive up a set of car ramps.
  13. Got one USA Fender Tele '52 reissue. It's simple, functional, plays & sounds amazing (through a 60's top boost AC30).
  14. The best always use Fender.
  15. Fender every time.
  16. Great concept and excellently done. Really like it. Cheers, steve
  17. The Woodland Mills looks pretty good in the video. Hmmm
  18. The graphics chip on two of them. Not sure on the diagnosis of the most recent one?.... they just run so hot when using Photoshop, Final Cut, etc and I believe that's what melts them. Search "macbookpro graphic chip problem" on google and you'll find a few rants! I've used Apple since the year blob and they are great computers, way better than PC for alsorts of reasons.... my first Mac laptop (Pismo) lasted 12 years. The last one lasted just two. I've given up and just use an ipad now. Less heat...Not melted, yet! Unfortunately Apple service has gone way downhill as well, or at least, not what it used to be (in my experience). Cheers
  19. I had one and it melted. My friend had one, it melted. I have a friend who is the manager at an Apple store, his melted. They melt.... you pays your money; they melt. Fast & great computers.... until they melt.
  20. Have you considered turning it into compost? Cheers
  21. Good man, looks great and I bet the insects and bugs love it, and also a good place to stop for lunch...birds & bats, etc.
  22. Are you sure he was was from the council?
  23. For planning purposes I believe an appointment has to be made in advance, otherwise it's trespassing. Councils do not operate above the law (although they often like to think they do).
  24. I suggest let them have a look around but request that ANY questions be put in writing (for the record). Offer a cup of tea, be friendly.
  25. Heavy duty rubble sacks that aren't heavy duty.
