  1. Oh no doubt about it! but for a climber who doesn't chainsaw its most likely an unnecessary expense. One day if I begin start cutting trees down all the time I may consider... Maybe I will keep an eye on eBay.
  2. Thanks! Well I actually looked at Chainsaw trousers, not that I need them. I was a little shocked at the cost, I understand they can save a limb if there was an accident with a chainsaw but blimey!
  3. I completely understand that, I'm trying to compile a list of bits needed to make one. I was a little confused when it was said a slingshot would not do not. So I presumed there was an alternative device you guys were using at the end of the pole instead. :-)
  4. Managed to watch about 10mins of the video so far, Its great! :-)
  5. Try getting all your own gear for a hobby! Least you will be earning money from your equipment.
  6. So... Is it not a sling shot mounted in the end of the pole?
  7. Ha! I love it....
  8. Simple but effective is key with sign writing. You don't want to have a list as long as your arm of services. Use the space Ava,liable wisely. (At least this is what I explain to clients)
  9. I didn't explain properly, I sounded like a tit. I meant its not like a car which tons of things, there are fewer things to go wrong/slightly quicker to fix. If you know how of course. I only dabble, so to be honest I haven't got a clue, always willing to learn though. Ha! Might get my hands on a spares and repair and have a dabble, I always find learning hands on is best approach.
  10. There is much behind a Chainsaw engine is there? Must be reasonably easy to rectify a problem. I know I undertook a Stihl 024 for the misses dad the weekend. Just renewed the carb kit etc. Followed a YouTube video. It is good fun messing around. (with engines that is)
  11. Now That's impressive!!
  12. I thought that is what you ordered?
  13. Yes! You! I've PM'd you my bank details if you could just refund me the damage you have caused to my bank account.
  14. Well all this is WorcsWuss's fault! Here is my kit so far....
  15. Is this the one your reffering to? STRIKER HIGH VELOCITY SLINGSHOT CATAPULT SLING SHOT DURAGRIP HANDLE +RUBBER BAND | eBay
  16. I can't find any info on it. Have you got a link?
  17. Decided to go for the army deployment bag. :-) I took a look at the Mountain Warehouse bag yesterday. It looked nice and shiny but I felt I could get a bigger one for the same price. I then considered driving down to GoOutdoor today to look at the Gelert Expedition 90L version but then remembered I had a £25 eBay coupon. So researched further into the army deployment bag and it seems to be the ideal bag! So only cost me the postage £6! BARGAIN!
  18. Nice idea...
  19. I did email Nod, but haven't heard back yet.
  20. No worries, hope that makes sense.
  21. Sorry for wrong section, I did try to hunt the correct thread. Basically when you get a notification from the ArbTalk App, and it comes up on the locked screen. If you also have another notification i.e. Text Message or Email awaiting on the locked screen. When you slide the notification across to view directly. The ArbTalk app loads then automatically closes and goes back to the Home Screen.
  22. Hi Steve, I've found a glitch in the ArbTalk App. Is this the correct section? Craig.
  23. Well the Gelert, you supposedly get a lifetime guarantee on it, plus the additional 30L capacity for near enough the same price. Think ill just get one of those. Ill just have to order and be patient for arrival, ha!
  24. Mountain Warehouse one is £29.99 too. A good size but is the extra 30L needed from the Gilbert one, ha! Plus mountain express just up road....
  25. Just realised I posted on the wrong thread. Sorry. ;-)
