  1. the 2000w trend router is a 2000w dewalt same tool
  2. build one
  3. stihl 460 husky 266xp, 372xp, 385xp have many others but not in daily use inverness scotland
  4. try using a skinny disc for a stillsaw disc cutter try to find ones at 3mm or 2.5mm x 305mm this is the best way to sharpen i sharpened cutting edge 22mm x 150mm x 900mm leaving a 70mm slope by turning it on end and cutting the corner off the full length of the blade- leaving an even finish and a flawless super sharp edge before trying this i worked a 2200w 9'' grinder for hours on end- eventually burning it out a stillsaw is like a 6000watt grinder i finished the remaining blades in miniutes
  5. want to buy my 55 one? have just polished and galvanized the chassis, intended to keep it but i still have two ldvs- ones like new the other is going up for sale really cheap. i also know where theres another with 135k kilometers so thats 70- 80k needing an mot for £1700
  6. i have two 35c12 iveco tippers 04 plate at 80k ex hire and 55 plate at 60k ex council. some parts are costly (the turbo boost pipe from the intercooler to the turbo- short bit of rubber is £120+vat and thats non genuine). only bought them as they go better and look better that our older ldvs. look out for heavy duty springs as my 04 one hasnt got them and really shows the weight. watch for the inside door handles they could snap off if not in regular use. and aluminum tipping brackets made by igimex snap too. the igimex tipper body tipps the load of logs on to the tail lights. if you got the truck cheap enough it would be ok have heard stories of a 35c12 doing 250k with no problems but one careful owner from new. got my 55 plate in my opinion cheap, what is the price and condition of the truck?
  7. are you after one, what are you looking to spend?
  8. go for a splitter where the knife is moving and the back plate is fixed if you want a single way cut. that way large blocks are easier to break down = increased production. a horizontal job is best but have it at a height where your back is in a straight position when working. a lazy diesel is economic our first splitter runs off a ford industrial 4550, in a day you can split 27m3 (loose) and she will only use 14L red diesel that costs under £20 thats a medium set up, what volume will you be working?
  9. lol it only weighs 100kg
  10. You should prob build a homemade job yourself, I was after a splitter and was disappointed with what was on offer. For £240 on parts i built one thats good value. The video is on youtube, search 'HOMEMADE HIGH OUTPUT LOG SPLITTER' since then i have started sourcing bits for a better larger one
