  1. Great work chaps, if like to give it a go myself one day.😊👍
  2. Your welcome mate, good luck with it all. I've got a quadchip and I love it. The GM's are a nice piece of kit. Merry Xmas bud
  3. Before you alter anvil position etc check that the discs have been sharpened properly, I know of a company ( won't mention names) that carry out re grinds, instead of grinding the angled edge down to sharpen they were grinding off the flat face until the disc was sharp but resulting In the disc becoming thinner. So three re grinds for instance could take 4/5mm off the thickness hence the 6mm gap you now have. You may find that when you put a new disc In the machine the gap is spot on. Hope this helps
  4. Had mine about 6 months and no problems so far. I run a 25 bar on mine and it powers it fine. Great saw, love it😀👍
  5. Google uk camo and you can see from various customer reviews that they have had similar problems. They seem to be genuine though, and the customers seem to get their goods eventually
  6. I've got the single cab. Brilliant truck and pulls fantastic loaded and towing the chipper. Parts are quite pricey but hardly anything goes wrong anyway. I'd definitely buy another one. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  18. With the right ramps you can drive a bigger grinder onto a truck and still tow the chipper. The groundie can stay with stumper whilst you unload chip. A good sight to look for grinders is e arborist. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. got the TH5000 which is the same but with leg loops and not seat strap. leg straps and waist strap slide and become loose when in use. so harness can slide down hips a bit when saws hanging from it. i find the D rings are attached too far forward on the sides so when your using a flip line it squeezes your back and after a while makes it ache. i used to use a weaver which is a lot more rigid and to be honest i wish i'd bought another one. The Th is ok for lighter work, small reductions with a silky in my opinion. I would definitely try one on before you buy as i wish i had (bought mine online).

  23. You don't criss cross a stump to poison it as a tress new growth is the outer ring.So that is where the stump needs to be poisoned if you're allowed to go ahead. Also birch stumps can re-grow . Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk mobile app
