  1. I do believe that you have to re-sorn said vehicle every year. Had a similar thing with a car absolutely no ley way what so ever. So would presume it's the same for everything with a log book??? I do stand to be corrected tho :-) Bob
  2. Hi, we have a vertical splitter, neither of those makes tho. Wouldn't be without it having used a horizontal I much more prefer the vertical. We have a reasonable size table on it enabling us to split and turn the ring and split again etc we stand another table next to it and load that with rings so don't have to keep bending down. It's also bang on the right height and don't get back ache standing at it for hours on end. Bob I'll try find a better pic lol
  3. It's at the top of the forum page. Just ordered my second batch especially since it's for such a good cause.
  4. How about the likes of a kubota rtv or jd gator with the tow hitch on front very easy to see to connect up. Push trailers about easily Bob
  5. We also use them easy to fill, easy to move and stack. We ratchet strap them the the headstock of the tractor so can tip them out.
  6. Here's mine, few free pallets and trimmed round the front with bit of old 4x2 had laying about.
  7. We just bought a little stihl 170 on a 12 inch bar, we have a couple of bigger saws but this is ideal for smallish jobs, bit of logging etc. Bought it to replace a 023 we had only replaced that because it was 18 odd years old. Got it brand new from the dealer £155 including a file and 1 shot of 2 stoke oil.
  8. Then again if it's only 2 bulk bags who needs a trailer:thumbup1:
  9. Was the same on mine mate, was the centre prop bearing. Lay underneath and give it a wiggle see if there is any play in it. Bob
  10. All signed up for ya, not a user myself but your welcome to my vote Bob:thumbup:

  14. Hi Where would be the best place to buy chain oil for our stihls, have been buying in 5ltrs at a time from online, but would prefer to buy it in 25ltrs. Also what make of oil would you recommend. I've been using stihl so far since the saws where new and would like to stick to it unless you guys know of something else as good etc Thanks bob
  15. Mud terrain would be your best best as they can be used all year round where As winter tyres are specifically for winter or temps under 7degrees. Once the weather rises to above the 7 degrees point they have no advantages
  16. 185 14 is for early transits approx 1990-1995
  17. I would be careful with the kingpins as they are remoulds and don't tend to last long.

I also run 57 plate ranger double cab, carries the weight well, tows great, especially being a 3.0ltr Good on fuel, and comfy. Wouldn't be without never had any real bother with it except general wear and tear.
