  1. Horses love it, and I've used them to get a drink when I've been in the middle of nowhere Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  2. Well that's the blower sorted, air filter had to be bodged with a kitchen sponge and its now tuned on gardenkit juice, with a rather low 6k rpm reading on the tach, on full throttle, still it's old (older than me anyway) and it works, that's all that matters! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  7. Cyanide doesn't really affect plants, but the heat breaks cyanide down, I've burnt plenty of rhody and I am still alive, so it won't be a problem, it doesn't contain much Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  8. I would suggest planting all mixed, and throw in a few pollards too, just to give a bit more habitat! Dunno if anyone has heard the news story on the conservation report? Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  9. Hmmm difficult one then, it's not like husqvarna don't know how to make the battery stuff, they've been selling it as flymo for years, I would guess they have never produced something that fast though, I think that the battery tools won't be ready properly for a while, by the sounds, it's a cooling issue Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  10. I dunno, any large corporation is 'evil', just remember they have done a lot of good where medication is concerned, even if they produced DDT, agent orange and all the other not so nice herbicides. And if timbrel and glyphosate isn't good enough to kill the OP's weeds, add 2,4-D in for good measure Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  11. Yes, sorry. IMO the battery saws were never pro saws, just for light pruning jobs, if people are using them for takedowns, felling, you are going to cook the motors! Anyone ever tried to cut really long grass with an electric mower? And the motors in those are a little larger! Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
  12. HS you're gonna have to set limits in cc size, cord diameter, etc, as I use a 40cc brushcutter, and that would cut a larger area faster, and with the fuel tank it has, run out after yours has Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App

  20. And yet glyphosate is used in ecoplugs?! If you are using glyphosate, make sure you use the strongest one (360g/l undiluted) which is supposed to be mixed at 35ml/5l (70ml in 10l, but as I was using a jug, 100ml was the smallest graduation) Sent using Arbtalk Mobile App
