    Same as above do suffer with cold feet but they're so comfy I'll live with it! as robarb said they're great in summer also the fact that I've smoked for the last 15+ yrs and have poor circulation may well contribute!

    Hi Delabodge if u get any response to this any chance you could pass on the interested parties details? I may need someone to do an oak in roughly the same area dbh is about 3 1/2 ft so seems a shame to ring it for fire wood cheers

    3/4 cuts straight down to within about 2" of the base and crush a couple of chemical firelighters down the centre job done ignite and admire:thumbup1:

    Thanks guys it was a nice way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon (bloody cold up there though). The last shot is of our groundie on his first ever climb, he suddenly had a new found respect for the effort involved in getting up and around a large tree!
