  2. i was under the impression were not aloud to move ash trees about as its been banned does that mean we cannot fell ash trees and move the timber to?
  3. we could do with another cold winter it might make the ground less boggy went out this morning and flooding all over road in places and the customers lawn resembled a paddy field!! its so annoying we lost an awful lot of eucalyptus in the 2 bad winters and the other thing that failed was a lot of ceanothus

  7. i agree totaly things quieten down but you still have things to do fencing fruit tree pruning garden renovations etc you just need to work harder at it and plant the ideas of what needs doing in customers head they think things stop to but in actual fact if you put your mind to it there is always something you can do in the garden

  10. the echo 270 is on mow direct for 279.00 inc vat and delivery i can get the 280 for 288.00 pounds

  12. £100 a day is nothing i pay my climber 180.00 a day when i need him and just build it in to the job i think you should be getting at least 150 a day! do you supply your own saws ppe and climbing gear?
  13. hi all i have used these saws in the past and realy like them plenty of power and usability and cheap to i can buy one from dealer brand new for 325 pounds and if you have it serviced in the first year they are giving you 2 years commercial warranty
  14. hi all i had my usual bloke grind out about 14 leylandii stumps the other day took a couple of hours cost 150.00 he has a brand new tracked grinder cost like 15000 new i think it was a fair price i live and work in buckinghamshire
  15. i would recommend the 660 as well a friend of mine does a lot of forestry and its all he uses
  16. by a stihl saw far more reliable
  17. trust me i have had a silky saw for years they are the best i always by the best i can afford it wont let you down they are ace!!
  18. hi all i asked for serial number on machine she was unwilling to give it to me said the saw was model as listed very iffy to me

  20. i just thought i would let you all know i just saw the t540 xp new saw advertised on ebay for sale the dealer has 3 of them
  21. i was just wandering what peoples views were on echo top handle chainsaws they seem to have a very good spec a couple of people i know have them and rate them and they are a lot cheaper than stihl or husqvarna

  24. i was cutting a hollow tree down a few years ago and someone had filled the cavity with concrete!!!!!
  25. frightening to think this is happening i hope the people inventing them are using them when they malfunction
