  1. Bang on Bella.. It's all on the slow up turn but just waiting for when it's gonna happen.? Factors in usefulness to the project is key for top end wages.. Said it much better than I. Lol.
  2. How old are you Chris if don't mind me asking.? Jheeze Louise.!! Haha.
  3. Just add to the convo, I think afew other factors come into wages gents; If it's on a Self Employed basis or not Extra tickets for help including 1st Aid., MEWP Optr etc., would/could effect wages slightly .. DEPENDING ON THE WAGE GIVER). Experience of the Cutter varies height of wage I've found around the UK (Could have all tickets, fresh out of courses / couple tickets but can fell to almost perfection) But also agree with the wage range that's been said already .. £90 per day (Bottom end wage with Employer supplying Fuel & PPE) - £130'ish being towards Top end., supplying all own necessities for the job etc
  4. Done well to chip it I suppose
  5. It's happening a lot these days 7th. Was going to say to him to upload it in the Milling Forum .. Oh well. Lathe / firewood now
  6. Would you like a Team or the odd Arborist to come manage a Tree(s) on your Property.? Discreet and Professional Tree Surgeons for Hire. We already have a number of Private Estates and Clients under our belts but would like to add afew more to our ever growing list of clientele. All work taken., Call now for a Free Quote: 07932859805
  7. Anyone like a Groundies hand or afew? Upto 5 Blokes free to work given a days notice. All Groundie tickets., 1st Aid at Work., CSCS .. PPE., Saws., Reliable., Friendly lads looking for Full or Part Time Week or Weekend work., All on UTR Basis. Give me a tinkle: 07932859805 Drew. Cheers
  8. Only you know your capabilities dude. If you can do a Good Dismantle., then go for it with the right price ./. Sub it on to another firm for a small percentage to yourself / Hire a MEWP.. But whatever you do., Do it safely.!! If you have doubt in yourself .. Just take a little time to go through your process first. Only you with your knowledge., kit n skill knows if it's capable to do .. Rigging Bollard would help on this ten fold as MEWP might not get you where you need to be (river n banking being the biggest pain for operator). Be safe n good luck dude. "Only Smarties Have The Answer"
  9. Nice 1 C.J fella. Just ordered it thanks fella. Great link. Cheers Thank you everyone that commented. Very kind., thanks Arbtalkers.!!
  10. Thanks everyone for your quick responses. I'll ring around some more and with luck & right supplier., should get what I'm after. So far all I've found is second hand parts .. Which would probably need replacing even quicker. Brand new plates should be more accessible than this surely.? Has anyone else had this kind of trouble.? (Specific parts that's an easy fix) Perhaps a little Business idea for someone.?
  11. I've called them all over London Eddy fella & They only sell the whole Side Panel. It's frustrating as fair do'z. In Wales (Brynmawr) Gay n Hunt is a Husqvarna Supplier n they sell the piece singular .. Down here is a lot harder to get one for some reason. Thanks for suggestions Arbtalkers., keep em coming. Bound to be somewhere I haven't tried.
  12. The Plate Cover that your lube goes through to Lube the Bar. It's behind the Drive.Sprocket (Metallic plate itself .. Not the whole side)
  13. Unfortunately they don't do the Plate on it's own (Which is what I'm after). Thanks anyway Bob mate. If it's so hard to find .. Is it a specialist part.? Considering it's such an easy fix. (Sprocket off n replace.).??
  14. Hi Arbtalkers, Could someone please suggest an easier option to get a Side plate for a husky 450 other than ebay & in London.? Ebay wants an arm n a leg for it. Any suggestions for this part would be appreciated as im finding it surprisingly difficult to find one. Thanks Arbtalk
  15. Hi Ya'll .. I'm lookin for a replacement side plate for my Husky as a piece sheared off n now leaks lube like a tap. I've looked for a replacement and only place selling one is on Ebay coming from USA .. And as it's an import it's costing a bomb.! I'm in West London atm and can't find a Supplier near to me. Any Arbtalkers could suggest a better means of attaining the part would be appreciated greatly. Cheers.
  16. If anyone would like a hand I'm freelancing between West to North London. Own Saw., PPE & Relevant Tickets Drew: 07932859805 Thank you
  17. Not yet Arborist .. To be fair I haven't had a slip as yet .. Maybe my weight to ropes' grip is good.? I will try the Knute .. It's the only 1 I haven't tried .. Having fun on the VT atm, but will definitely give it a bash. Is that your preference dude.?
  18. As a new climber I'm finding the VT the easiest for me to use .. So I'm guessing it depends on the individual, which set up to use .. So I'm asking if this pure assumption is accurate.? On reading a couple of these messages from people on the Climbers page., The Green & Black loop IS an IVY Sirius Loop 10mm (Had mine from Honey Brothers) I've just moved on to the Hitch Climber too & must say it's a much more practical set up for my use (Top & Bottom holes in use) Keeps it all nice n neat .. Now to get up & around a tree quicker on it, Haha ..
