  1. End of day 2 , and the customer want the end wall clear as well.(Add on)
  2. We (2 of us) have 3 days on this job all 18 trees are coming down.
  3. Working in the snow all day yesterday and yes it's cold when you get out of the car but after 20 mins of working , happy days and warm as a hot dog in a bun. We have the best job I think.
  4. Best of luck with your first tree job , its going to be hard being the first but have fun doing it and keep us up dated with the job.
  5. count the chain links , new and old and see if they match ? rule it out.
  6. Is there any were near Bradford to buy gear , I know there is some one in Liverpool but that's 1 1/2 hours drive away and I'm not taking the car over , help please.
  7. Was hopping to visit there again , may do this summer , I did not hear any thing about her brother , hope they are all doing ok.
  8. Are you near the lake or the other way , people I did know back then Yvonne Laffey , her gran had a pub in the town her dad has sheep , Olive Joyce her dad the post man.
  9. Small world this , I worked in Petersburg outdoor education centre for 2 years going back many years , one great place to live (Joyce country:thumbup1:). Is the chipper still there , I went cow tipping for the first time just behind the payphone box.

Get your saw in the UK , I'm in Dublin and the cost of saws and chains are just mad , I'm heading over in May of the weekend to Bradford and hopping to pick up a new pair of boots and other bits. One shop here was looking for over €900.00 for 201T , not getting from me. What part of Galway are U from ??

  13. Sounds like a handy number , just put a canvas slid and away you go , had a job like that about 4 years ago , cutting trees above a glass smoking shed and they would not close it for a few hours. P.S did put ply wood over and around it. Good luck.
  14. Did a retaining wall about 2 years ago , best way I found was put RSJ in the ground standing up right and drop the sleepers down , hope this helps.
  15. When I did the CS39 , there was lad climbing beside me , at one point he was NOT roped in at all and the assessor seen him , told him to come down and sent him home on the spot , he probable saved that guy's life.

  17. Crumlin (Dublin 12) to start and moved when I got married now in Fairhouse (Dublin24) just under the foot hill of the Dublin Mts , work is not great right now , doing a bit for few landscapers and what ever come's along , how about U ? missing home ?
