  7. Hi mate, yes in the pic it does lift up, the saw was running on tick over so vibrated out a little & tipped up towards engine side, however when i was cutting i applied even pressure to resolve in a flat even cut, will keep up the good work mate thanks josh
  8. Well i can pull a sub 750 kg chipper with my van & when im subcontracting supply a chipper and charge more, then when funds allow get my arb truck !! josh

  13. I had my heart on a 660 but may & wait and see what the 661 is like!!

Hi all, thought i would upload a couple pics of my milling so far, I milled a load of polpar (lombardy i think) & ash thursday, then i had some spare time earlier so i got all my old carpentry tools out & had a go at making my first picnic bench. I ripped the legs down out of a 3" slab of poplar, and the rest was made out of 1 1/2" boards. I then gave it a quick sand, just to remove any pencil marks and round of the courners & treated with liberon teak oil, Im quite happy with how its turned out, but would love any feedback from expert millers!! thanks again to Rob d for my mill:thumbup1:, Top man , VERY helpfull, i shall be in touch soon as i would like to get a 12volt sharpener.

  16. Exactly my thoughts sometimes cheap isnt good, could be a pile of S**T could be a gem who knows..... if i finish milling in time i shall go and look at it tommorow. thanks for replies!! josh

  19. That looks ok, shame i dont have a tractor to power it still no news , looked at a few, cheap gm eco chip on ebay atm, £2500. buy it now, but as people have said dont be fooled by a shiny new paint job
  20. Still searching for a tidy chipper, then onto searching for a truck,, leaning towards l200/ranger atm, need 4wd for shooting & hunting outside of work, !! best keep looking ........................................ so if anyone has a tidy chipper they want to move on feel free to PM me !!

  22. soo true, handy for lowering (small stuff) pulling yourself up the awkward pines etc etc the list goes on .............
  23. I would add 5m split tail instead of 3m ( just my choice) tape slings i use a 1.2m sling all the time, ? tool strops? tool karabiners? spare friction rope? ( to tie your own fishermans) first aid kit for harness along with whistle and knife!!, atleast 4 karabs, 3 is pushing it, hope this helps matey.
