  1. no the screw i referring to is under the black plastic and on occasion can come lose and vibrate down and work its way out

  3. is it the one that actually fastens the end of the chain brake band to the mechanisum inside the black cover ?
  4. for instance mine is " MKS Tree & Garden Services " then goes to state what do ie thining etc grass cutting hedge trimming and also state do private domestic and commercial if your local council approved put that on as well
  5. put something like whatever name you going with followed by Groundcare Services ie "Flatyre Groundcare Services " i know prob not the company name but just for eg then further down sign list services you provide , fully qualified inusred etc etc phone number and such a lot of people dont put a landline down but there is a lot of people out there that wont ring if mobile only
  6. may be a sillt question but is actually on your 025 at present as it maybe 3/8 picco or it may be .325 as 3/8 picco and .325 cant run on same bar and cant run on same sprocket or rim (depending which one fitted ) 7 or 8 tooth depends is you want more top end speed or more torque ( i personally prefer 7 )

  8. i can give you the part number which is QC160-6-1008 and its a SPA belt If you pm me on fri evening i will look on the machine itself and get the length for you
  9. ps why people are on it does any one know or have Stihl hedge cutters PARTS manual and Stihl Strimmer/brushcutter Parts list as many different ones as poss

  12. That is the best attitude the amount of money it would cost to replace is not worth the risk with your own life always be on side of safety its your life on the line
  13. the other thing to take into consideration is 2 things 1) if someone is happy to do such task for a SAID amount 2) if the customer is happy to pay SAID amount for SAID task if both above can be answered yes then that is the way of life
  14. With damage like shown in the pic Pictures are pictures and you can always see better in the flesh as so to speak But that sort of damage would it pass a LOLER Test ??
  15. on the grape vine and from experience if proper shop etc premises and the like i would expect to pay £35 ph plus vat if from home in his shed / workshop would £25 ph seem reasonable theres the VAT to add and also parts to pay for re Collection etc simply work a mileage charge out taking into account the mileage there mileage back and time away from actually mending other stuff lol if you can get Them to drop off and pick up when its done then all the better just my thorts we will all have differing ones it also depends if he is doing it a the only job he has or 1 or 2 days a week and still getting his main stay from that this then is a little bit extra as we all love a little bit extra lol
  16. from my experience prob 20 first hour then 15 per each hour there after some go straight for 20 per hour plus parts
  17. lol oops typo reading too many post correct as u say use 200t for 200t and 201t for 201t and correct for every other saw make sure they are matched
  18. if you get a larger one that supplys more wattage that will work better but do you use it every day or every other day another way is to put 2 large batteries on and charge both up once a week in depot saves the connecting to vehicle etc
  19. a lot of chainsaw problems and component failure in my opinion is down to not been serviced and cleaned out periodically
  20. ive only ever seen 2 break in 30 years depends on how abused they get lol
  21. another way is just to have a solar charger which stops charging when full around 30-35 quid job done obviously protect from theft
  22. if you got to ls engineers and search for 201t and then get parts dia you will what should and shouldnt be in there but even better if you have another 201t just have a look see to compare taking care when looking lol
  23. give it a muffler mod and advance timing and iit an awesome saw but tbh i dont use mine that much as the 192t/193t again with muffler mod and advance timing does most of my top handled saw use 201t with 16inch on for the slightly thicker stuff i just wish 192t/193t where invented many many years saying that thou a 150t Muffled mod and timing advance can get some work done also
  24. u will need to replace the bone as it acts like a lever to enable the chain brake to activate correctly
