  1. Serious? It’s fair weather hereabouts this week, if yome serious I’ll crack-on early in the week and get up there - If it’s on I’m staying overnight so as to get on the piss though.
  2. I’m not sure I would Mr ? It’s possible, it’s not as if 100s of 1000s of other UK residents aren’t similarly pissing their lives away with the snort for a whole bunch of reasons much less than he might have. Not saying that that would make it right or excusable, but I would suggest he’d be due greater degree of empathy than most given the sacrifices he has been forced to make and the systemic pressure that has been brought to bear upon him for talking what he believes to be the truth. You see marching dust, I see a man under a great deal of pressure living with the expectation of being incarcerated before the end of the week, being separated from his friends and family, probably being in solitary and possibly loosing his life - i’d suggest that would be enough to cause the visible signs of what “could” be misinterpreted as drug abuse but could just as easily be the observable manifestation of considerable stress. Like him or loathe him as a personality, there should be universal disgust at the nature of the treatment he has received from “the establishment.” Anyone that holds dear the privilege of freedom of speech can arrive at no other conclusion (unless they are actually a closet fascist.)
  3. I’d wear that with pride. He IS a fucking hero and due back in Court this Thursday. Watch the vid:
  4. Don’t go for a pint with ?. He’ll probably wear his JC T shirt and talk Momentum all night!
  5. You're quite right! I'd forgotten, you have to put questions on your application form. Chances are though they'll be off the headlines by the time the show comes around. We had to submit written questions on the night too. Are you gonna wear your cheque shirt and underpants so we'll recognise you???
  6. The mighty JRM addresses the obvious absurdity of the argument which proposes a second vote whilst relying upon the premise that the Great British public were too ignorant to know what they are voting for. 00:35 - 1:55
  7. That's a bit harsh Eric! You don't HAVE to have a question to go on QT and not everyone in the audience gets to ask. You write your questions on a card at the pre-show reception and Dimbleby (or his minions) select the semi-intelligent, relevant, interesting and topical ones to be called upon to speak during the show.
  8. You’ll be sitting more comfortably now that we’re back in active disagreement then Mr ?
  9. Agreed, the tree owner DOES have the opportunity / facility to abate or prevent further nuisance to a neighbour - by submitting the circumstances and proposals via a TPO app. If consented, proceed. If not, liability for remediation of nuisance (after application) may be transferred.
  10. Yes it does! You’re finally starting to see sense ?
  11. Was it arrogance? He was Shanghai’d Into the Neverendum by UKIP and Tory pro democracy / anti fascist euro sceptics. He didn’t want to do it. Is it your assertion that his “arrogance” was in the failure to predict the outcome?
  12. That old crock.... Anyone that doesn’t see it the way I see it must be un informed... Thats a justification to keep re-running the question until the desired outcome is achieved.... ?
  13. You’re in the right direction, but on the wrong track mucker. Its a train wreck because it’s like a vegetarian trying to throw a BBQ. If we’d had someone that BELIEVED in liberation running the show, it’d be a whole different show right now
  14. I done QT in Plymuff a few years back. Got my question put to Justine Greening when she was overseas freebies for all Secretary. It was the warm up question just before cameras started rolling live - she'd just spouted off about how important it was to safeguard the SW rail infrastructure (the line around Dawlish had just been washed out to sea and Exeter was underwater again) so I asked why she didn't divert a fraction of her departmental budget to remedy catastrophes at home rather than supporting terrorist organisations in Palestine or the China / Indian space programmes.... Rapturous audience applause - she blushed and farted, literally went so red I thought her head would pop and was totally on the back foot for the rest of the show! Humdinger!! PS - The question for JRM - Don't ask a question, just tell him to stop messing around and take the top job! ??
  15. Could you expand on the nature and context of the works requested in the application and the grounds for its refusal? (Hit us up with a link to the LA planning page and the application number - that'd be the easiest way) It might be that the refusal is entirely appropriate - depending on what it was that was requested. One approach might be to reassess the nature of the works that are being requested, include a solid justification case for the proposed works and re-submit the new application. Whilst not always practical / possible, an email or telephone call with the TO or PO to get a better understanding of the reasons for rejection might provide the basis for a successful subsequent application.
  16. Bhah..... What have the Romans ever done for us....?
  17. Not much left after the staggeringly ineffective bureaucracy and greed of the unelected (and the elected ones) parasites and groupies have sucked up their fat salaries, benefits and pension pots. Burn them all I tells ya! What was this thread about again..... oh, yes, pot bellied pigs in lycra balancing their tiny balls sacks on a strip of leather whilst blocking all the roads.... Burn them all I tells ya...!
  18. Where did you find that? It's AWESOME and stands very well with the debate I initiated at a Parish council meeting recently. My presentation was that, just in time for the late Summer / early Autumn flash downpours (combined with poor land management and soil erosion as a consequence of intensive and irresponsible agricultural practices) , we will expect, the same as every year, to see the LA and agricultural contractors out on the roads flailing and casting all their shite all over the carriageway to cause a hazard and block the surface water drains leading to flooding and the associated road hazards. Having been down this exact path with the highways department last year - and found them desperately lacking in intelligence and responsibility - I thought I'd pass it in via the County councillor this year. He was no better, worse in many respects. At least highways came back with a (at face value) reasoned response something along the lines of "..we risk assess that the potential harm from debris on rural roads and the potential to block surface drains is acceptable..." Although that kind of fell apart when I highlighted that the specific section of road I was using as an example was in flood risk zone 3 and that frequent road flooding occurred and that serious RTAs had also occurred as a result of the flooding. That kind of blew a hole into the "...we risk assess..." argument especially as the Jonny I was in contact with admitted that their so-called risk assessment did not take account of flood risk mapping. Anyway, the County councillor's response was priceless - "...I've had a look at my neighbours hedges and decided it would be unreasonable for him to have to clear up all the mess he made after flail cutting..." So that's it as far as I'm concerned, cut a hedge by the road side, fell a tree by the road side, construction sites that track mud or debris onto the highway.... Don't worry about it, just leave it all where it lays. If its OK for the farmers it must be OK for everyone else no? But, as far a Parish / District councils talking utter BS, that part I have to whole heartedly agree!
  19. Nah, he’ll never “tyre” of grumbling until he’s got someone in the “frame” for it!
  20. That’s “pumping” it up rather Ti, I wouldn’t want to be “saddled” with that sort of label (even if it is quite accurate!) I guess you’re right to be concerned though, there could be issues of vicarious “lycra”-bility..... ?
  21. Get on the blower to the local constituency office Mr S. https://www.chichester.co.uk/news/mp-seeks-urgent-reassurance-over-velo-south-1-8639175 Or arrange for an “anonymous, accidental and uncontrollable” hydraulic hose to split sending a fine spray across the carriageway just before start time. Set up deck chairs, gets some beers in, make sure the GoPro is fully charged and settle down to an entertaining day of watching the action! ????⚠️⏳? ?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️?‍♀️
  22. Both statements are fundamentally flawed Richard ?
  23. Many thanks for your kind thoughts Mr S!! ? I've already tested it and I'm happy with the functionality (but I'm not entirely sure that's what you were hoping for ?)
