  6. I have an old ex mod crane mounted on a trailer all runs from a small pump on a Honda engine when today when I was using it I lost the slew all other features continued to work although a bit slower than normal bet when left for a while it all worked fine between this I did swap the hoses around to find out if it was a spool playing up and in the process noticed the hydraulic fluid was very milky so must have a bit of water in the system could the water be causing the problem and help would be great many thanks Tom
  7. If you need bits for that ed there's an old boy at marsworth that brakes them usually dose a decent deal
  8. Yes you can buy them with overrun brakes and rated tyres although if it's less than 750kg you could legally tow with out brakes obviously you need lights a rated tyres for road travel I've been looking at these to go behind my Landy but they are pricey so think I will go for a Ifor with a crane as its not a single use item

  22. I asked Simon at predator the other day and although they didn't give me a definitive answer I got the impression that there would be very little difference between them as the petrol would be running faster but lacks the torque of the diesel had a 28 a few weeks ago was an animal I did two big ash stumps in 2 and a bit hours it was a hire machine so would have thought it had been turned down on the power I'll be buying a 28
