  3. Seems about right for me if I'm tipping off road when it's wet I do normally drop them to 30 but doesn't work so well on the road when loaded so normally pump them back up but my chip site is a quagmire after very little rain

  7. I agree but there will always be those out there that don't have it think about the hire sector builders hire a 150 from a hire firm for the amount they tow they aren't going to do the test gardeners plenty of people don't have the need for the licence in are industry I've found when I tell potential employers I have b+e they really like it as I can tow what I want plus when buying my first chipper I found it cheaper because I can buy a over 750 chipper long term positives out way the small cost as a self employed person but as a business I could become very costly to put employed staff through it
  8. 750 Chippers have there place one of the guys I work for dose a lot of work in London and there's been a few times where we have been working in the hidden gardens they want the chip so we can push the chipper in right to the bottom of the tree could still be done with a big chipper but would be far more hassle they don't take brash so well due to the opening size where as I have a old 7 1/2 kwickchip that's pulls most stuff in without the need to sned up my old girl out performs his 150 side by side and a bandit would leave mine for dead I think there will always be a need for a wide range of different size and weight Chippers to fit the job you are doing no one chipper will ever do it all
  9. Know of them seem to have a good rep and do a good job not gypos to the best of my knowledge been running for years remember seeing them around when I was younger

    Landy vs truck.

I love my 130 and with a payload of 1.1t it's far better than my bosses transit 400kg payload I have to agree it's very dependent on what sort of work you do as to which would suit you best but although a standard tipper would be fine 60% of the time for me id rather have the defender
  11. All this about selling at the end of the month how many of us don't sell the vehicle with the tax ? I always sell with what ever tax is left so really yes there getting more money but were getting some back my biggest question is how would you tax a new vehicle when you pick it up if the post office isn't open as you couldn't do it online as it would be for the current owner

  16. I like that it looks like the best of both worlds the security would be a bonus of a full roof and would stop me putting as much chip in lol
  17. Well as it says above I've currently got a bodged on chip catcher on my 130 I'm about to build a new body as the one it came with is knackered and I'm struggling to decide on a full roof with vents to stop the dust blowing back out or stick with the catcher your thoughts and opinions would be great many thanks Tom

Hi Paul just make sure you check all numbers are correct and it's not stolen and that it works well never used one myself but check all bearings engin runs idles presume it didn't have anti stress take some different bits of timber to put through it I find and good bit of bushy connie and a decent bit of hard wood and see how it chips
