  1. Anyone know where I can get a new seal fitted on a massey 80 loader? Pref local to Haslemere Surrey. Looks like its a sealed ram (certainly no screw in ends)
  2. tried both sides!
  3. protech p10 post knocker, I could try an auger that's got 2 hoses!
  4. 1.50 in the old days
  5. Hi, Trying to0 connect up hydraulics on the mini digger. When ever I press the foot button there is an engine note change (labouring) but nothing, is there a valve/switch somewhere?
  6. He#s already visited. I left the gate open to the yard (gone for 2 minutes) he came in and looked around. I said when he called was he allowed, he said he rights to access!
  7. That's my point, I don't really understand the issue. I don't understand the possible outcomes.
  8. No were not, ive got some bloody good evidence (local books featuring our business). Even a local Dr who used to work for us 40 years ago as student) Proving the established nature shouldn't be an issue, its just the unknown!
  9. If anything things are less disturbing now than 3 tractors warming up at 5 in the morning. But that's not the issue really the complaint is in. the enforcement guy is coming, I just don't know what to expect from the interview?
  10. Id trust the enforcement officer more than a solicitor
  11. What should we do? A neighbour has complained we are running a business from our premises. We (family) came to this site in 1926 and our business has changed from farming through to agricultural contacting (small scale stuff) and on through to fencing. weve got loads of old sheds we build in the 60's 70's and 80's. they used to house all the farm stuff, but in the early 2000s we sold a lot off, and kept a few bits and pieces but as things evolve most are now full of fencing, new and old posts we cut up for fire wood. Im not sure how to play the situation. I don't want to fall in to the industrial warehouse trap, id prefer the agricultural line, but not sure what to do. im happy about the sheds not needing planning. its the running a business bit im just not sure of?
  12. What about fencing? we bring it all to our yard, posts we turn into our own fire wood, metal scrapped,
  13. Its a constant battle, Too small, not enough power. to big cant get it anywhere, hassle moving it. We've got a Kanga 620d with 4in1 bucket, auger, grab, post knocker. Just got a 1.8tn mini digger too. Remember though it only costs the difference between what you pay and what you sell for.

  15. I built my website Haslemere Fencing Home Page. I keep it up to date. (just about to spec it up a bit more
  16. Hi, thanks for the picture. That's the kiddie. It just doesn't seem to sit right. The link arms and the A frame seem too far away from the tractor, especially when you see link below and there are no link arms on the tractor! http://i.ebayimg.com/t/sanderson-tractor-mounted-forklift-international-454-front-weights-/00/s/OTU4WDE2MDA=/z/j6IAAOxyqOxRrQjE/$(KGrHqZHJBQFEzSJqspSBRrQjEiGWQ~~60_35.JPG
  17. That would be great. id really appreciate it.
  18. Hi All, Just bought one of the above, has anyone got the foggiest idea how it fits on the tractor?
  19. I bought a Kanga 620d (from ebay) about 4 years ago, we mainly use it for the Auger (fencing) but it has been priceless. lifts quite a lot great for loading trucks/ bonfires etc. To be honest the purchased changed our business, mainly by changing our attitude. If you invest you feel it has to work for you. Secondly we work now on the basis that new equipment and investments only "cost" the difference between what you can buy it for and what you could sell it for less what its made you eg. we just bought a mini digger for £5500, I would expect it to still be worth the same, but its probably made us £500 profit. Most of these things are like hens teeth so if it didn't work for you youd seel it easily.
  20. 6" boards are too wide, Jewsons crap for timber 4" boards with 3/4" overlap you wont have any problems! rip the whole lot off and put decent timber up
  21. 4ft is £6+vat per yd
  22. I gave up long ago splitting materials and labour. Its a total price from me now. If this guy is being like this hell be a nightmare to work for!
  23. Hi my digger has a 1" flat face quick coupling and a 3/4" coupling (im assuming the larger is return? I have an auger from my Kanga skid steer I want to mount but that has 2 x 3/4" pipes, should I fit a 1" coupling to the auger, or change the coupling on the digger to 3/4" couplings. Ideally I want to use the auger on both digger and kanga, and the other attachments on the Kanga are all 3/4" hence (ideally) not wanting to change kanga fittings.
  24. Give Matt a call at avon forest autos Ringwood. I know what you said about jcb but they have some 1.5 t machines with good history from the electric board.
  25. Where do I get these bits?
