What he said about what he said
  2. I take it you had to tie your rope off at the top? In that case your hitch would still work without the need of the figure8 wouldn't it?
  3. I worked in NZ for a year and all they had were steel toe caps
  4. I wonder why he won't post?

    Spikes

Velcro geckos for me used others but seemed to restrict blood flow in my feet, geckos perfect would get another set if needed
  6. What he said
  7. Kind of looks like ash but ash has more of a grey bark
  8. I'm worrying about you lol. Where did you find that? Infact I don't want to know 😆
  9. I'm sure if you tie your chainsaw off to a tree or something you will soon have 2 saws lol
  10. Just wondering what the zz is like in the rain with a wet and dirty rope as most of the north west is like this all year. Does it become hard to move and create a lot of friction and need a lot of cleaning to keep the moving parts from sticking?
  11. John neeman, autine axes are great quality. Look them up on google they have a site. I have just ordered the felling axe from them
  12. Meant dad not sad lol
  13. My sad has tried to compress woodchip, doesn't hold to well as it's to big, you can buy a machine that grinds the chip further and using a bonding agent you can compress it, not cheap to set up but I recon you could make a bit of money from waist chip
  14. From seeing the buds I would say sycamore. Could be an older tree which has stunted growth? Also could it have a form of cancer? This causes scales on sycamore
  15. And????
  16. Same happened to me! The police are in favour of the criminal and there well being these days
  17. I'm sure you would soon pop it chucking a large log into it with stubs on? Also I wonder if you could use it as a quick exit from the tree? Lol
  18. 12.6 t
  19. I think you made a spelling mistake, you put isn't instead of is lol
  20. It's not laburnum as that's yellow with a large dark brown heart wood and it's not willow as I don't think the bark is thick enough. I'm still sure it's pop but if it is it normally has a distinctive smell?
  21. Is it pop?
  22. Yes I would remove the ivy and reduce it to a better shape, no need to remove a tree if it doesn't need removing!
  23. Yes I have one of these great lite weight hatchet but I would say its soft metal and does need sharpening a lot
  24. This axe is made by john neeman, there is a website and he has lots of different tools, all hand made
  25. Just put a deposit down for an Autine polished hunters axe, 6-7 month wait though!
