 Don't count on it lasting. :001_tt2::lol: It's all fine and dandy until you adjust the L screw out and the saw dies, then you stand there for ages pulling it over and over and over......
  2. Ok. So like father like son. I brought an ms181 home tonight as my boy wanted to change the chain on the (toy, its not a toy to him) stihl I got him from the show as the one that was on it went blunt. So sat side by side. Now I just need to train him up to change carbs on Honda mowers, and sharpen hedgecutters.....
  3. Yes very well, I'm being very strict with my boy about how many he can have, a small bowl will last him the day. Me on the other hand is a different story. I will just sit there and munch away like there going out of fashion. I need to be controlled.:lol:

Nope he is on about the right screw, The low screw when turned in from factory setting will start the saw to run high on revs, this is then tuned back to tach, when winding it in it will start to run lean meaning it will pickup on revs. As its running on less fuel and more air. A bad place to leave it. Turned out to bring the revs down and adds more fuel to the mix allowing the revs to drop. Too much and the saw will bog down as its flooding. The idle is then adjusted after these, with the low screw on factory the idle screw will need to be a few turns out. Hope that is what spud meant.
  5. Apart from its gone 12, and I'm now off to bed after some bedroom fun........... My statement still stands tho.
  6. And how is he meant to moderate that then. Suggestions on a postcard please. Maybe a tick box on register asking "are you a convicted thief, please remember that by clicking yes you will not be allowed to join this forum!" Or maybe he should do CRB checks on every member??! Please enlighten me.... :001_rolleyes:
  7. Tear gas is illegal for the public to use in this country, so you would be in for one hell of a court battle...
  8. Yes I like that one too. There are sooo many choices. I wounder if Justin is reading this he would get any in over here. Or be able to get them in.
  9. These. They arnt cheap but maybe worth less than all the kit you have. So its basically the cost of a 880 with the biggest bar and a climbing saw.... BRAND NEW BURGLAR ALARM SYSTEM - FOG/SMOKE SCREEN | eBay Or there is a company on Lincolnshire that does them a fits them. Don't know on price but wouldn't be much to find out I guess. Security Smoke, Security Fog | Concept Smoke Screen
  10. Rub it in some more why don't ya. Silky, I saw the real tree one first so hands off. Yes they are nice and if I had known about these I would have got some. But I have been TOLD there is one that I must get....
  11. Got to say. I like them.
  12. Yes before anyone says a word I have seen top gear tonight.....
  13. Silky......STRIP. :lol::lol: Will get my coat.
  14. Good luck to you both now. But was the dinner and beer a bribe to get Paul to work for you???? Looks like it worked,
  15. Sorry. I should have mentioned from a repair point of view. But its still heavy. Might balance up with a good bar on it. Yes the spark arrestor needs to be pulled. Not sure about the exhaust outlet either. Looks a bit small to me. Could do with a bit o widening.
  16. Three dogs were sitting in the waiting room at the vet's, when they struck up a conversation. The Black Labrador turned to the yellow Labrador and said "So, why are you here?" The yellow Lab replied, "I'm a wee'er. I wee on everything....the sofa, the curtains, the cat and the kids. But the final straw was last night, when I weed in the middle of my owner's bed." The black Lab said, "So what’s the vet going to do?" "Gonna cut my nuts off" came the reply from the yellow Lab. "They reckon it'll calm me down." The Yellow Lab then turned to the Black Lab and asked "So, why are you here?" The Black Lab said, "I'm a digger. I dig under fences, dig up flowers and trees. I dig just for the hell of it. When I'm inside, I dig up the carpets, but I went over the line last night, when I dug a great big hole in my owners' couch." "So what are they going to do to you ?" the Yellow Lab enquired. "Looks like I'm losing my nuts too," the dejected Black Lab said. The Black Lab then turned to the Great Dane and asked, "Why are you here?" "I'm a humper," said the Great Dane. "I'll hump anything. I'll hump the cat, a pillow, the table, fence posts; I want to hump everything I see." Yesterday my owner had just got out of the shower and was bending down to dry her toes, and I just couldn't help myself. I hopped on her back and started hammering away." The Black and the Yellow Labs exchanged a sad glance and said, "So, it's nuts off for you too, huh?" The Great Dane said, "No. Apparently I'm here to get my nails clipped!"
  17. Yep that's the ones. I know of a few dealers that have them. Aswell as workshops. Some it even brings the ins premium right down. The while point is they get stuck in there and can't see the exit. Too busy trying to get out than stealing tools. But they do work with an alarm. But could always get hold of the army bombs and use a trip wire I suppose. Maybe a few flashbang s while your at it.
  18. What about the smoke bombs that go off on entry....... Now they are worth getting.
  19. Yeah I'm agreeing with the above. Wy would anyone want to tell others on an open forum how they lock there tools away. The reason why sooo many people answer questions about how they keep there tools safe is with shotguns and blanks, meat hooks etc is they don't want to say how they lock there tools away on here. The lounge maybe for members only bit who's to say a member isn't a thief???.. Sorry can't see that idea working somehow
  20. OMG quick that is huge news. Tell then to cancel whatever is on telly and we can have a few hours on this....
  21. Desert rat. Are those the hats you got?? Dd you get them from where I think you got them?
  22. You can only do what you can. Cameras alarms, chain everything up tight. You can put as many locks and chains on gates as you like. There is one simple thing to remember, if they want it they WILL find a way to get it. Trackers, locks, cameras, chains etc etc etc. they are nothing but a deterant. Only possible thing is to make it look as hard and that it will take a long time and a lot of noise to get at any tools.
  23. Ok now I'm confused. Has jnoon got two profiles????

    Holidays!

What everyone else said. I just had a two day holiday and went to jonsie arb show. But its back to the grind stone next week. But I will always have time to take off and take the family out or away.
  25. Ah. Another super dooper ported saw...... Try working with that all day long. It's a toy for showing, not for working. It's a racing hot saw. Would probably last a couple of days of constant running felling and logging. You can always tell a racing saw as it will get started, cut and stopped. Not continue to cut more than a couple of discs.
