  1. I have been using Beeline 10mm on Poison Hivy, Vortex, and Yale Luna. I like Beeline the most out of hitch cords especially with the fisherman's. I haven't tried Armor Prus although I would like to.
  2. I don't have a lot of experience with big saws in the tree. I had MS 361 in the tree this week and it kicked my butt! I bought suspenders (not for life support) for my Buckingham Viking saddle which I thought would help but they were very uncomfortable. Every time I cut water sprouts off I was Leaving stubs to hang the saw on. Dan you the man! 880 in the tree I have much respect for doing hanging that machine on your saddle! Mark
  3. You are a trip! LMAO
  4. That appears to be Yale Imori climbing line which I have heard really good reviews for climbing. Don't know about rigging with it?
  5. .22 's sound like an air rifle or fire cracker. At least the ones i have shot.
  6. Really does look like a toy!
  7. 13mm Arborplex climbing/rigging is a great rigging rope. IMO Cheap, light and strong with some stretch. Not a good climbing rope!
  8. Very cool! Could definitely become a hit reality show with different climbing arborist from around the globe. Also makes me realize how much I need to learn
  9. Tempted to try a trampoline spring
  10. Thanks for posting TK!
  11. Just had a glance at the flex tether. Ok, I am a breaking down here and think I need my new shiny fix! Gonna order the Zk-2 now
  12. That is super cool! Looks like this could go big! I know I want one. Very nice!
  13. If a couple of stubs are handy I will use this same principal to lower pieces to the ground especially if groundie is busy and less rope to use. Good post darrin and welcome to AT! I can see how this would be handy especially when you don't want your rope to drop off. If I have a few stubs to work with I will tie it off when setting up for my next cut. Mark
  14. I want to wingsuit proximity fly!
  15. Got my interest. Really got me thinking outside the box of what to do for my small tree company I am building. I unloaded 2 trailer loads of brush by hand by myself today. I am pretty sure you guys call it brash. Correct me if i am wrong Cool videos
  16. Very nicely done! It appears to be adjustable in length which is nice option.
  17. I will rephrase my post as just Great job Kevin on the Rope Runner If I comment on the rw I will take it to the proper thread
  18. Thanks for your answer. I figured vertical was for chogging down the stem. When I looked at the pic on my Ipad it kept turning sideways!
  19. Thanks for posting this something simple yet didn't know an exact method for it. One question though, would this work for any species when done correctly?
  20. Great job again Mr. Bingham! I am sure you will figure out the all in one package on the RW. Keep up the good work and thank you!
  21. I started out in 2010 Landscaping, Grass and tree trimming. End of last year I change my name with it ending in Tree Service. Definitely not cutting grass but landscaping seems like is where people are allot easier to get them to pay. Tree work around here is lowest bid wins! I try to educate people but for the most part they don't care how the tree work gets done or by who. At least for the most part.
  22. Is there any reference material on how dead trees of different species react? I have recently started on my own as well and in the past would not touch dead trees. I have tackled a few recently with good results, except the first one: blushing! Maybe a dumb question????
  23. I am too poor for uni or for Zk-2 right now. When I can definetely going stick with RW. Thumb Up!
  24. That would definitely be cool to have! Collectors' item from the revolution:) Didn't think you would want to sell it but thought I might be the first to try anyway. haha
  25. If you have a good anchor point (tree, truck, fence post) and landing zone. You could speed line using enough krabs and slings calculating the amount of pieces to be tied. Only thing you would have to put tension on the line once in the tree and reposition as needed so your slings reach your speed line. I haven't tried this set up but do occasionally climb without ground person due to the astronomical cost of Worker's Comp Ins. I agree as it is not safe and don't plan on doing it again. It is IMO worth exploring ways that could be made safe though. Robot?
