One of the tw150 has less than 400 hours on it ,theres a stihl 660 as new several 357 and several 560 plus ms200t and the latest model one less than a month old,this wasnt your usual smash and grab raid they were organised stealing to order no doubt,so if you get offered any of this kit you know who to call cheers.
  2. I was going to make one using the beam off a forklift everything is there ram etc just needs a bit of fabrication.
  3. Theyve got an issue they cant address apparently so dont hold your breath,shame though cause it looks the bizz.
  4. Petzl zig zag thingey looks a better option less fidley.

Bound to have been covered to death but has anyone come up with an alternative to the shocking now made in China Stihl ms201t,i like the look of the echo and the makita is getting some good reviews,was hoping to get a husky but noone has a date as to when they will be available,so enlighten me good folks.

Yo im down in cornwall and the saws aint mine they belong to my firm but they still fixing they are all ms200 ts and if you have any advice you could give me i would be most grateful, they all run but not well tick over all over the shop revs dont pick up and constantly hunting,carb screws appear to do nothing,so whats up cheers look forward to hearing from you.

  8. They seem to run better if we use the high octane fuel,but they are still a bit ropey,is the new huskey out yet or is it still a myth.
  9. Cheers ill bear that in mind .i thought Stihl had sorted this problem.cant believe they would cut corners and use cheap parts.
  10. How long should a carb on an ms 200t last granted they are worked hard,but the fuel is always corretly mixed,we have several bout 20 months old all struggle to pick up when revved and they all hunt when ticking over,any tips please,or do we need new saws cheers SSBOB.

  12. Weve got several and they are slow and dont oil properly,very weak design,no where near as good as a ms200.
  13. Weve got one sat on a shelf in new condition ,no one likes it worst thing ever,and the other five our firm bought are sat on various shelves throughout the southwest,they realy are crapp.

    $13.43 per hour doing utility.
  17. old firm used to give me an extra week for xmas un taxed,but in the current climate wages are the only bonus i need.
  18. Yep buy a can of aspen fuel cant go wrong,560 is a mixed bag but if you get a good one its a crackin little saw,bit like a 346 on roids.

Same down ere flying in october but died a death at the mo need snow quick,i agree with you on the upstarts and there summer prices,ive just agreed to do a shed load of felling for nout just so i can have the timber should give me a crackin head start for next year,moneys scarce at the mo i hope it picks up soon,cheers ssBOB.

Id sack the inspecter and take on the big man,we dont know if the oik was making a cock of himself leading up to the ejecton,had a similar thing happen on a coach years ago,a youth was being particularly gobby when from nowhere a normally quiet lad went back and gave him a slap problem solved,may not have been right but it worked.
  22. Theres not respect for elders anymore if the big guy had been the ticket officer,would the scrote have been so cocky,i see this sort of thing all the time and i feel that this is the only way to deal with this sort of person, well done big man.
  23. What ever happened to Arbrex i never see it anymore used gallons of the stuff back int day.
  24. Been using Aspen in the 560 so far so good try it in the 2001 might be just the thing.
